Our centres are giving us nothing today. Some of that might be down to the gameplan, but they're playing heads down bosh rugby right now. I talk a lot about Ringrose, probably too much even. But it's clear that he's head and shoulders above every centre we have. His distribution would've been invaluable today

Farrell has been very good today...his chasing and tackling have been top notch...created our first try alsoe...not a bad replacement to have

Super try but if 2 Ireland players missed a double tackle like that I'd be raging.

    Great work Carbery!

    When is ringrose back?

This could be the making of Carberry. Never got the chance to make mistakes at this level. ROG, Sexton only making international debut at 23/24

Don't worry we will let them back into it

    Healy really emptied the tank.

Scotland shooting themselves in the foot there, the door was open for KInghorn to get hands on the ball from Kearney's tackle but he was too preoccupied with minding himself on the clean out.

Then Dell and Harley leave a small 10 storm though.

    Great from Kilcoyne there.

Kearney has an awful habit of shoulder tackling, some ref is going to ping him at arrive stage

Murray needs to sat down for a game or two, his form has been shocking since November. His kicking has gone to pot. Carbury really needs to get in control of this game.

Scotland always **** it up. Game in the bag now.

    My god man!!!!

I think Venjur is right. Scotland look wrecked and we still have most of the bench to come on.

Should close this out, possibly even the bonus.

But this has been really poor for Ireland at centre and half back.

Who was it that said Rob Kearney couldn't make a line break :D

Kearney is our best fullback, allows our wingers to really push up

No matter what way you skin that, throwing a hospital pass like that will rock the confidence. Hopefully he will go great guns second half.

Annnnd he's made up for it

Earls really deserves a try for his work game in game out.

Scots won the turnover & now have a penalty.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

    Terrible turnover.
Ridiculous penalty from Ali, twice today he's done that!

POM making his case to start at 10 with all these kicks

That's 2 penalties against Aki for the same thing

    Very pedestrian from Ireland.

Not for me. Been caught out of position a lot today and looked for contact too much. His power game is his strength but he's playing too much to it.

He just got turned over there by taking it straight up.

Not over yet by a long shot

In proportion to Stockdale his strike rate has been low (wouldn't anyone) and it deserves to be higher

He's doing what he should...can't really fault his game today... supporting POM and SOB also in tackles and rucks

What else does Murray have to do to get taken off?
