When was the last time both Conference games both went to OT in the super bowl era ?

I was convinced that the graphic noting 21/21 field goal success rate was a graphic of death but delighted he nailed it.

I'd be very happy if we can end this with a MIchell TD

First time ever that 2 post season games have gone to OT on same day.

Only second ever AFC championship game that has gone to OT.

Last one was Broncos Browns in 1986.

    Never happened.

Only 2nd time ever the AFC has gone to OT, 1986 season was first time.
NFC conference game was 17-0 Giants over Washington

Edelman did brilliantly to hold onto that ball.

    Romo calls it again

Edelman takes such a beating at times

For some reason I thought FOX had the superbowl this year but it's CBS. Happy this isn't the last we hear from Romo! Great commentator.

Great catch by Edelman, what a legend!

Couldn’t ask for three better men than Brady, Edelman and Gronk in this scenario.

The money ball every time - Edelman or Gronk, keep it uncomplicated.

Maybe throw it to someone other than Patterson.

Someone who can catch a ball, maybe?

Edit - Yeah, Gronk will do!

    Romo is f*cking psychic

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,546 ✭✭✭Masked Man

    Gronk is amazing.

And the GOAT drives his team to victory again in the AFC Championship game. It’s almost boring at this stage, but not really. :)

Brady converted three 3rd and longs on that drive.

    Wow.
    Clutch from Brady.
    Some game.

Right well at least that's over now I can actually try get some for a few hours before getting up work. I was hoping the Chiefs would win but I said in the first quarter that I couldn't see past the pats. Either way it was a great game.

That was some drive. So many clutch plays

  • Registered Users Posts: 899 ✭✭✭FrKurtFahrt

    This.

That was an absolute circus of a game.. Incredible. Can't believe we came out on top.

Great job by the patriots I would love to have seen Kansas go on but they will surely get another crack at it. Better team going to the Superbowl no doubt about it

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,929 ✭✭✭Ohmeha

rule out the Patriots at your peril

Hate that rule of the other team not getting the ball in OT after a touchdown. What a great couple of drives though from both sides. Once the Patriots won the toss you knew it was over.

Congrats Rams and Patriots. People will complain about ref calls in both games but stupidity cost the losers more.

Can't see past the Patriots getting another Super Bowl now.
