Which other United attacker do you have, Pogba or Rashford?

    Pogba

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,094 ✭✭✭✭GBX

So have the following in my team - still have wildcard and 2 ft:

    Allison / Foster
    Periera/Luiz/Alonso/Robertson/Wan-Bissaka
    Salah / Delfeou / Milivojevic / Pereyra / Fraser
    Aubameyang/ Jiménez /Wilson

    Pereya / Delefu / Jimenez out ?
    Thinking of bringing in:

Lingard / Deeney and AN Other.

    Any advice ?

On wildcard - if you had a choice of picking:

    A. Haz and Jimenez
    B. Auba and Moura/Richi

    Which would you go with?

Others mids are Mo, Sterling, Pogba, Nasri
Other strikers are Rashford, Quaner (will upgrade once I know how much I have left itb)

    Hazard & Jimanez for me

    Auba and moura for me.

    Moura may be up top

Moura is not 100% fit. This week maybe one too early.

    Id rather Deeney.

Has hit a few goals recently and certain to start when fit.

Why are you selling jiminez ?
Wilson isn’t even fit and has much worse fixtures Why are you selling deulofeu and then bringing in another Watford attacker?
    Lingard? Just no .

You don’t say how much money you have but either way downgrade Alonso all the way to Bednarek for a start . You have Luiz .
The look at getting Pogba in . Tbh I think both Watford lads are better options than milojevic..........

Tbh I’d nearly just punt on 2 lads for this week and then WC
Need a lot of restructuring especially in midfield
Not sure why you have foster and Alison either

I see Ive to transfer him out. Ah well, Ill get rid of him tomorrow for next week.

Hes on my bench right now.

If TTA doesnt play, Arnie is my next sub...... next in line is Shane Long then AWB.

To transfer Arnie now or not?

This is where I'm at with 1 FT left. The team is in good shape, so I'm leaning towards rolling it, as there is a 10 day break after this GW, which could include transfers and more injuries.

    5.4m in the bank

    Fabianski Hamer
    VVD Laporte Bamba AWB Bennett
    Salah Sane Ricky Deulofeu Pogba
    Rashford Jimenez Wilson

I'm going to keep Wilson out of stubborness, and I think he will return. I've enough on my bench to cover.

my choices, in my mind, are:

    Roll the transfer.
Bennett ----> Digne (though i don't like the idea of 2 Everton, despite their fixtures)
    Ricky or Deulofeu ----> Mane
    Ricky ----> Sterling
    Jimenez ----> Auba

i don't want to lose 0.1 on Ricky as my team value is already quite bad, but I can't shake the idea that he's destined to score well soon. he's one of the highest amount of shots in the box over the last couple of GWs. but, I love the idea of Mane or Sterling in the team to have real powerhouse midfield.

Auba, while somewhat tempting, just doesn't excite me for some reason.

    Any thoughts are welcome.

FWIW I'm thinking of taking a hit to get Gerry D in and I would keep Jiminez, both Watford and Wolves have good fixtures.

Planning on using my WC this weekend joint top of my league and My team is

    Guata (Boruc)
    Alonso Doherty Digne (Wan-Biss) (Valery)
    Anderson Salah Richarlison Martial (Fraser)
    Kane Rashford Jiminez

Without yet pressing confirm Im looking at

    Foster (Boruc)
    David Luiz Robertson Digne/Doherty (Valery)
    Sane Salah Anderson Pogba Ricky
    Llorente Rashford Jiminez

Any thoughts on whether i should go ahead or what changes if any would you make? (Also have all chips so could use free hit to see how much of an impact so many transfers have)

I kind of want to give llorente a week or 2 see how he looks
I made this point before, waiting one GW before going for a Spurs player allows you to see three games (2 x cups) and a lot more info on how they set up. Llorante or Moura might look like great value then if one is playing up front and they have three home games in a row.

Took a -4 to do Kane to Firmino and Herrera to Pogba.

Holding makes sense if Spurs attackers are on your radar. (This will probably be a midfield spot I suppose. I'm not sure if a good show by Llorente would tempt you)

Bennett is a hold for me. Bamba or Laporte are the ones I'd remove for balance of spend in your backline if spending 5M plus on replacement.

I'd be shocked if it wasn't 3 at the back alright. Was all set to get Trippier and all in for TAA before news of his earlier recovery period. Should Llorente be up top Llorente (Trippier) could be in the match day thread easily.

    Cheers.

    And thanks to the others.

I've narrowed it to Bamba ----> Digne, Ricky ----> Mané or hold.

No to FreeHit, you'll have to move Kane next week anyway with your only FT

There's a lot of Pros to waiting a week on WC wrt GW27 blank resolved, more info on who has doubles and who blanks in GW31 and GW33 and we get to see 3 Spurs games without Kane. (Moura probably misses out Sunday) AND you avoid the stress of a one day WC.

Five of your attack are the same anyway. (6 if Llorente is your transfer.)

So play without a goalie and consider a hit next week that includes a GK if Llorente does well? Worth a chance imo.

Poch said himself that Dier isn't ready to start matches yet as he is not match fit, but he'll be on the bench.
Is Eric Dier fit enough to play?

No, maybe he is going to be on the bench, but he still needs to recover his fitness.

    My lineup prediction:
3-4-3: Lloris; Sanchez, Alderweireld, Vertonghen; Trippier, Skipp, Winks, Rose; Eriksen, Lamela, Dele.

    The alternative would be:
4231: Lloris; Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Winks, Skipp; Eriksen, Lamela, Dele, Llorente.
    ie Sanchez OUT, Llorente IN

6m in the bank. Gonna sell Richarlison. Considering Alli, Eriksen, Sané or Hazard. Leaning towards Eriksen. Here’s my thinking.

Haz always lets me down and Alli’s not in great form but usually does well when Kane is out (mind you usually Son is there to cover). I fancy Eriksen against Fulham and fixtures are good. Just worried that I don’t have any Man City cover.

    All opinions welcome.

Would you start Lossl or Speroni.

Not the best options I know.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,502 ✭✭✭spock.

Took a -8 earlier in the week Kane, TAA, Camarasa, Lowe --> Rashford, VVD, Alli, Bednarek

TAA news is annoying but I assumed he was 100% out after the red flag.

I have 5.2 mil in the bank and would like to swap Ricky out for someone *even though he has good fixtures*

Already have Hazard Salah Pogba and Fraser so thinking of a city player.

My main issue is obviously i cant ****ing trust Pep!!!!

Ive been burnt so many times with Sterling this season that i got rid then got stung with De Bruyne. So its either Aguero or Sane. The latter sounding the safer option but who the **** knows!
