I once fixed a Xbox 360 for a guy on the site years ago when I was working construction and opened it to the same as that case. I opened a lot of 360's and you might get a bit of dust but this one was bad real bad.

Some good news; seller said he'll refund me.
I just need to figure out how to get it to a dump myself.

How someone could put that up as a valid item for sale is beyond me.

I do appreciate people who stand over things though so i will give them that.

Have to ask though, was there no pics in the ad?:P

So, i installed a Dark Rock 4 in place of my old AIO. Problem is now that games are freezing up after about twenty minutes of play. Can't see anything out of the ordinary with temps. Any ideas?

If you're certain it isn't thermal, double check you didn't give a knock to an unrelated power cable when you put it in.

Has the Synology DS218+ been discontinued? It's listed on Amazon, but only by 3rd party sellers....

Wonder does that have any bearing on why Overwatch is crashing for me regularly since going RTX.

No other game, just OW. So annoying. Have gone from playing a few hours a day to not playing in a few weeks due to that.

So in addition to this, I ordered a fan filter I now don't need.
Amazon let me refund it but I don't have to send it back :pac:

Folks, has anyone ordered a large number of parts from amazon.de? If so, how was it? I have a Prime subscription but not sure how that'd work out on the .de site. Any advice would be welcome because buying in Germany is massively cheaper for my planned build.

Used Amazon.de a few times in the past with no issues but you need to check shipping costs. Last item I got came from via 3rd party seller where the shipping brought it up to the UK price.

No issues. Have built multiple small budget PCs from .de. When you check out with Irish address, additional VAT is added. You can get around this with German with mailboxde, but just figure out if its worth doing so for the saving first.

AFAIK your Prime subscription is tied to 1 country.

Don't even know; they've 4 times failed to deliver, without even attempting to contact me.
By the time I found out it was too late to contact them so here's hoping they bother checking their emails.

I'm having a similar issue with TNT right now. 3 failed deliveries, no attempt to contact me, no dockets left so I had no idea if/when they came. I go on the site today to say its being returned to origin. I tried ringing but too late. Sent a mail but need to follow up tomorrow morning.

I'm on a PCIe 2.0 board. I'm happy enough compared to my sata SSD's.

    It's also not a NVMe M2. It is a M2 designed for PCIe 2.0 it's a Kingston Hyper X Predator.

Crystal Disk Mark 5.0 for comparison. Didn't do too bad I think anyway.

My Kingston drive is also running in PCIe 2x (NVMe 1.2)

    Still faster than SATA

Also, my oldest drive (a 640Gb 7200rpm WD) just passed 24'000 hours operation time.

Quick one folks, what's the general consensus on WD Red's v Seagate Ironwolf's for a NAS? I'm looking at a 2 bay NAS to home either x2 10TB Red's, or x2 10TB Ironwolf's....and can't seem to find consensus online about which being better for reliability...

When you say 2Bay that means you should be RAID1ing and not care about the reliability so much (they're both similar). By asking that question Im worried you're not using any fault tolerance....

I will take a wild guess and assume Misky you and OSI have a Samsung NVMe, probably a pro version.
