    Fair enough. I just think with very young kids it is very difficult with feeding, tantrums, toilet training, night wake ups, etc. It can be a tense house when that stuff is going on and I don't think it would be easy for an au pair to settle in that environment.

    I'd be more open to it when they are a bit older. It would be great to get a certain amount of time to yourself and have the au pair do weekend/evening drop offs to various things.
