Its smaller than an Octavia and currently 1500 more expensive. Who the **** would buy it at that price?

Hence the thought that the Octavia would need to be about 3 grand or more than a scala.

Well a porsche is smaller than an octavia.....

If skoda are going to just slap 3 to 5k on the price of an octavia in such a competitive market they might be in for a shock ré sales.

It's a value family saloon and taxi, take away the value and many other cars start to look equally appealing. We will see though.

Yeah, cos thats the same as comparing 2 similarly prices Skodas.....

BTW, Porsche make more than 1 car.

If a Fabia cost the same as the Octavia , how many would sell?

Just like the Jetta is smaller and cheaper than a Passat.

Theres no point to the Scala if it costs more than an Octavia.

Parking Sensors (no park assist, not sure about camera)

    Golf Highline
    1.5 DSG
    Tech Pack
    -Camera

Personally I'm not a fan of Seat interiors, they aren't as nice as Skoda which in turn aren't as nice as VW. I'd argue the Leon facelift isn't far off the Golf. Both Skoda's also have manual handbrake. Leon also offers LED headlights standard on the Xcellence/FR trims so it's not even exclusive to the Scala.

A large majority of people buying these cars aren't going for that spec, but even on the lower trims I don't think there's much difference between them all.

Changed it to say not a fan of Seat, Skoda better interior then the Leon.

Maybe it's down to personal preference but I just don't like the gloss black on the Skoda climate control area, it looks a bit cheap looking. The whole climate control and centre console on the Leon is nicer design wise in my opinion. Dials are less glossy and look a bit nicer.

Splitting hairs though, not a huge difference between them.
