Chicharito / Wilson / Murray / Jimenez take your pick and roll the dice on the cheap forward lotto.

I'd pop Mitro in there too (WHU, new, WOL, HUD, ars, bur) coming up

    Time to replace TAA then.
    Kolasinic, Delph or Stones?

Laporte if you can afford him, Kolasinac if feeling punty

    Stones went off injured midweek
Of those 3 I’d go for Kolasinac

I've 1.1m in the bank and no city cover in midfield.

Current midfield is - Salah, Pereyra, Fraser, Anderson, Ricky

    Only got Laca last week.

He is currently standing on the side of a cliff while mooning me. The urge to kick is very strong. It's either ship him as part of a -4 to get in a city mid or bank this week so I have a 2 FTs next week if I'm to give him another chance.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,359 ✭✭✭Porthallian

    Unfortunately not only have 5.3m

I like Kolasinic but won't Monreal replace him now?

Still mulling over sane to sterling
Having an extra FT with so much money in the bank could be more useful though
Sanes midweek performance has made this a tough call

Sterling would most certainly be in my thoughts for captain next weekend whereas I’ll nevr captain sane
Auba at home to burnley though ..........

    Leaning towards banking now
Josh Murphy first sub has looked dangerous last 2 weeks

Have been basking in my relative glory all week (ie. finally breaking into top 100K ) so not sure what to do for this GW...apologies in advance for long post...all feedback welcome

    Foster

    TAA | Digne | Balbuena | Alonso | Doherty

    Milner | Sane | Richarlison | Fraser | Salah

    Jiminez | Mitrovic | Kane

    -Option A: No transfer - bench TAA, Digne, Jiminez;

-Option B: Milner --> Snodgrass.....I know Milner will start, but will likely be at RB so reduced attacking potential and no CS points.

-Option C: TAA --> Robertson....start Robbo and bench Balbuena or Milner

-Option D: Hit for Milner --> Snodgrass + TAA --> Robertson

Kinda tempted by Option D tbh having typed it out....started off this season playing very conservatively and it wasn't really working so have no issues taking a hit at this stage

    D for me too.

TAA could miss a couple of weeks, maybe more, and Milner could easily see a lot of time at RB.

So you’d be cleaning up two problems and Snodgrass is a good option with their fixtures.

Leaves your bench looking better too.

    Current team is:

    Alisson, Hamer
    Alonso, Keane, Balbuena, Bennett, AWB
    Salah, Maddison, Richarlison, Anderson, Ward
    Kane, Aubameyang, Jiminez.

    2FT but only 0.1 itb

Nothing leaping out at me to be honest. I have no City, but would have to get rid of one of Salah, Kane or Auba to bring anyone in, and I’m not comfortable with that.

Richarlison has a tough fixture, but he has good fixtures coming up and I have money invested in him, so he’s being kept.

Thinking of Maddison to Pereyra to free up 0.5, but not overly sold on it. Other option is to bring someone in for Keane, but again there isn’t a stand out option.

    Anyone have any alternatives?

Not sure on Keane but you could use the FT to bring in the Brighton backup keeper, as he’ll see game time soon, and replace Hamer.

    Keane to digne.

Have Alisson, not keen on a Liverpool double up. Man U are poor, but if there is one game they will play well in, it will be this one!

    Alonso has great fixtures too.

Change Keane imo. Digne is the best long term pick or go for Kola.
Lowe for set pieces and fixtures to release some funds maybe. Masuaku/Hojbjerg might be options higher up on your bench if Ward is out for extended time.

Nothing is jumping out at me at this stage and I feel it may be more beneficial to have an extra ft for coming weeks.

    Fab hamer
Wan b vinagre Alonso Bellerin digne
    Sane sterling salah Ricky alli
    Carroll zaha Jimenez

    .5 in the bank

Could do Bellerin to kola and zaha to giroud but it feels a little sideways for a hit

Zaha will be moving on soon but my bench can cover him this week

I'd rather have Sterling I think.
Any money left over after that switch?

My current front 6 is Sterling Hazard Richy Anderson. Kane PEA.
Hard to squeeze in another Spurs player.

Did Silva to Anderson and Bennett to Kola for -4. Man it feels good to have Kola in my team

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,273 ✭✭✭COH

Did TAA > David Luiz last night before the price changes as had the exact funds for it. Glad to have done that now after Luiz rose and we just heard that Trent could miss a couple weeks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,139 ✭✭✭✭normanoffside

Is it worth doing Hazard to Sterling as a free transfer tomorrow? I already have Sané and want both but not sure both will start tomorrow.

Another option is Mane to Anderson or even Snodgrass to free up much needed cash for future transfers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,654 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

    Ederson
    Alonso Robertson Doherty AWB Keane
    Salah Sterling Ricky Anderson Obiang
    Auba Mitro Jiminez

    1FT and 0itb

Went with Auba over Kane so I've made my bed on that one.

Thinking maybe Keane to Kola and then I'd be able to bench Ricky at City and go 4-3-3.

Think Sterling more likely to feature than Sane but even that's not guaranteed. Sterling played the full 90 midweek and with Pep form is no indication - see Aguero

    Jiminez Auba Aguero

He has trained the past 2 days, still doubtful for the weekend though.

I'd get rid and look at getting in Sterling/Sane, the former more likely to play this week in the Pep roulette

Most of the team around me have or will have Sterling. Im top or second in all of my mini leagues.
With that in mind I'm thinking Alonso to Kolasinac and Sane to Sterling for a -4.
Still have Kepa in goal for Chelsea defensive coverage.

Keep unless more bad news. Would be a -4 would rather take a 2 from the bench than a 2(-4) on a transfer.

Is Snodgrass the only obvious Mooy replacement?
Plan was to do Salah to Sterling this week but having second thoughts. Not worth a -4 now.

Any news on TAA. Was going to hold on but read someplace here he may be out for a few weeks. Currently 5.4 going to 5.3 but selling will only get me 5.2 now. If I sell may not be able to get him back if injury for more than 1 week. On WC

It's way too early to worry about rivals.
    How many will captain Sterling?

    A or B or neither

A TAA Arnie & Paterson worth a minus 8 to Hazard Kamara Bedarnek.

Would have to play below team then every week.

    Fab
    Digne Kola Wan B
    Sterling Sane Ricky Hazard Torreira
    Kane Aubu

Serious front 7 dodgy back 4

    Or B

    TAA, Arnie & Paterson out
    Doherty, Alli & Success/Kamara

    B should cover itself really

Am I mad for sticking with Tripp over Doherty?

Spurs have such good fixtures if doesn't play today he's surely back in next week?

Dohertys fixtures are mixed and has less chance of clean sheets.

Tough one. Trippier & Spurs great fixtures. If you have him in your team, prob stick.

Doherty IMO is like Alonso, more of a 6th Mid then a defender. CS points are a bonus but you’re getting him for attacking points so fixtures not so much a big thing.
