Sunday 6pm slot looks fairly grim. Thanksgiving games would look to have heavy favourites. The TNF, SNF and MNF games do look interesting.

So I'm 101-60 coming into this week

    Bears @ Lions
    Redskins @ Cowboys
    Saints
    49ers @ Buccaneers
    Giants @ Eagles
    Patriots @ Jets
    Browns @ Bengals
    Seahawks @ Panthers
    Jaguars @ Bills
    Raiders @ Ravens
    Cardinals @ Chargers
    Steelers @ Broncos
    Dolphins @ Colts
    Packers @ Vikings
    Titans @ Texans

Not really impressed with this weeks slate of games but I could probably do with a break after the emotional roller coaster of MNF this week!

Seahawks Panthers is interesting, those are two teams with wild card hopes that could be seriously dented by a loss, so there's plenty at stake.

For Thursday, two things that make the Bears Lions more interesting than it might seem on paper: Trubisky might well not be playing, which is definitely advantage Lions, and also they are always tough to beat at home, and have beaten some really top opposition there this year. I would not be in the least surprised by a Lions win there.

Two things in the Bears favour though, is the Lions look like they will be missing their top 2 offensive threats in Marvin Jones & Kerryon Johnson.
With that in mind & after witnessing the first meeting, I'm can't see the Lions putting much points at all on the board.
Could well be a low scoring game.

We just promoted Tyler Bray from the PC to the main roster so it's looking like it will be Daniel tomorrow.

I'm optimistic but I've been through situations like this before where the starter goes down but we were told everything would be grand as the backup knows the playbook inside out. Hopefully he can make the throws when needed. He looked decent in pre-season against the Chiefs' 1s.

Lots of high leverage games this week - not quite must win just yet, but huge implications for playoff chances, especially with the NFC teams.

Ha ha. I actually felt that I'd count someone's wins as losses.

    I'll blame the hour.

Fixed it now for ya. Back into the middle of the pack you go. :)

Very nice, just a little confused about what gives the record?
I would have thought it was total wins/total games so 101/161= .627 rather than .410

    also, paleface killing it!

    Certainly makes the game interesting.

    That's not a good thing.

This game has been so slow I think I'm still good in picking the Bears. Going for Cowboys and Saints later then pick the rest before Sunday.

  • Registered Users Posts: 394 ✭✭rebelyell99

slow start to lions bears. The lions are frightened of the bears front 7 getting the ball out fast but not much success.

If you love punts. This is the game for you

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,776 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

Yea fairly dire 1st quarter. Longest run of the game so far just went for 7 yards. Hopefully things start to open up soon.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,184 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

Bears offense looks terrible and we couldn't afford to give up a turnover like that.

Nagy's refusal to try to get Howard going is frustrating. Mizzel comes from the practice squad the other week and is getting carries instead. Howard has back to back 1k yard seasons for god sake.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,184 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

Can't remember seeing a luckier 4th down conversion. They stupidly throw on 4th and it's tipped then caught by the fullback.

    Not our day.

Lions got lucky with the tipped ball but they made it pay.
Daniels under pressure now to get a scoring drive going here. Personally I've always liked Daniels, always felt he could've been a starter somewhere but he hasn't looked good so far today.
