Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    That was inexcusable from Keatley.

Some play from Keatley, drop kick on the volley and catches it on the bounce.

And another overthrow by South Africans in a crucial area

Won that despite Keats. He couldn't have done anymore to hand the Cheetahs the win.

I'm astonished Cheetahs didn't get a penalty at that last breakdown tbh. Total get out of jail, Keatley won't be at Munster next season.

I saw that Keatley missed the conversion, did he do something bad after that too? Could only follow on Twitter.

Ball was passed back into the 22 and he kicked it directly into touch. Could have been very costly

He missed touch with a kick... but he also pulled.us out of defense once or twice... mixed the good with the bad as is his way

Luke Fitz is yapping away again today post match. It's like having to listen to your over confident 9 year old nephew.

I think he's fine. Commentary is probably something he'll need to work on, but he seems like a clever guy so I'm sure he'll get it right. At least he's a bit animated, unlike a lot of the other guests.

In fairness to the Cheetahs they kept going. As they said on eir, we were lucky with a few of the calls in the second half. Grand to get the points though. Alby is short tempered enough with his own players. Did anyone see him screaming for the window dressing for the rucks in the first half?

Too right, some of the lumps need to be shouted at. So of the defence was just down to laziness and people switching off. Munster would be a much better team if people were giving a percent or 2 more.

Easy to have a cut at Keatley but he wasn't to blame for Cheetahs getting 21 unanswered point mid way through that game. We should have been home and hosed midway through the 2nd half.

Yes, his missed conversion was inexcusable and his kick out in the full was poor but the team have to take a long hard look at themselves for conceding those last 3 tries to the Cheetahs.

Wooten is lucky not to have picked up a card which would have been game, set and match to Cheetahs.

But there were positives too from that game, Liam Coombes scoring a try on his debut start and having a good game, Tyler back from injury, Bill Johnston was very good and most importantly a BP win away from home with a 2nd string team.

I wouldnt say Keatley was to blame for Cheetahs getting those points but missing 3 points when you're in front of the post, to make the game a bit more comfortable for you team, or missing kicks to touch, or not gaining enough ground by kicking to touch, is criminal for an out-half. No wonder it seems like he is 3rd/4th choice.

Been happy with Keatley when he came on in other games and surprised he hasn't gotten more of a run out. But put us under massive pressure this weekend. Not everything was his fault (shipping a lot of points - altitude, temperature, etc. definitely took its toll), and he put in a great kick off the ground and collected to get us out of the 22, but the con in front of posts and that 22 clearance were stress inducing.

Happy with the win and 5 points. Some good experience for up and comers / fringe players. Lucky escape with their winger not taking two tries (great work by Wootton for one of the missed opportunities). Quite a few players went really well - Johnston looked assured and a lovely pass for one of the tries, plus a great pen kick to touch where he eeked out every inch - but we could have used more of a buffer for when legs and lungs got heavy.

    🤪
