bumping this thread. Ordered 2 items Tuesday (Prime delivery) they both arrived today, delivered by DPD, not AnPost.

My last Amazon order was delivered by UPS. It departed from Köln at 01:00 and was delivered that morning.

I had two other orders deliverd by UPS in the last few months but both were above An Post's size or weight limit. The recent order was small.

Am finding An Post couriers unreliable now. Twice in the last week they were a day late, although tracking said delivery would be the day before.

An Post is ok if it's a small package delivered by the postman/woman on their rounds, otherwise no.

Same experience here. Packages that are delivered by the postman are always next day. If it comes by a van it takes 2 or 3 days. An Post were practically flawless before this month.

I had a small package come via An Post last week. Was away for the weekend but got notification that it was delivered on Friday afternoon. Yet when I got home there was a missed delivery card from Saturday?

One of today's packages via An Post (ordered Tuesday) was bigger than the UPS box that arrived on Monday

had small-ish item delivered last week, was out walking dog for like 15mins and postman managed to stuff it into mail box would been close to a4 size envelope, would of prefer they would be able to leave it on the door mat or smth, that said nothing broken so better then getting message to wait until noon to go to depo to collect it later. as amazon goes dont really matter who they use as deliveries often arrive day or so earlier, that said some mention UPS- wonder is there connection people using german amazon to get UPS deliveries ?

UPS's main sorting hub is in Germany, so the majority of their shipments will pass through there.

Just got an email from Amazon to say that I've been given a gift card for the two delivery charges to make up for the late deliveries I mentioned above. I don't have Prime as I only use Amazon now and then.

I hope An Post are charged back.

Won't matter, Amazon Flex will destroy them if they launch it here which is likely.

I've had two late deliveries. Complained both times. I was offered £10 and a further £5. Does this compare to your gift card?

Also, it doesn't show anywhere and they said it will be deducted if you buy anything off Amazon's warehouse stuff. Is this correct? Can anoyne else verify this information.

I've tried to purchase something on Amazon Warehouse at no point do I see £15 being deducted.

Also, Amazon don't ship Li-Po batteries, which is a shame. Is there any other reason for this other than li-po batteries can blow-up? I can't think of any other reason.

Yes, however AFAIK it's only on items sold by Amazon, not fulfilled by Amazon. I'm not sure if Amazon Warehouse Deals are included.

Thanks for the response. Is there some way I can search items sold by Amazon only? There must be. I'll have a look now, thanks.

yes have noticed since the brexit alot more stuff was not being delivered here anymore. but just now i had ordered stuff from micksgarage. but after checking , the same and better items were cheaper through amazon including the prime delivery. now lets hope they fit, as that was often the case with parts i got before from micks, and i wasnt quick enough to organise returns.

Anpost Amazon deliveries have became a joke recently. They marked several of my orders as delivered and they only delivered them the next day. I also had an order marked as delivered on Friday and didn't show up yet.

Is two day delivery available for anyone with a prime membership at the moment? Since yesterday every product has “Longer delivery than typical prime items” printed on the right hand side and standard delivery is the only option again at the checkout. Or is it just me?

I saw that too. Last order was placed on Thursday, only dispatched Monday and delivered yesterday. A couple of weeks ago I'd have had it on Saturday.

Ordered last Friday, due Tuesday (still technically longer than 2 day Prime). Still hasn't arrived. Got refund last night (unfortunately order value was only about £10, it never happens for the expensive stuff) and also got a refund of one month's Prime subscription.

Not just an Amazon issue at the moment, have two other delayed orders from UK companies.

Amazon taking the Mickey now completely with their "dispatched" dates. They are putting that down as one warehouse to another. I got a dispatch date for a shipment via UPS which was actually given to them 3 days later.....

For a week or two now, all my Amazon parcels were delivered by DPD, where previously it was exclusively Anpost.

All mine are still An Post (unfortunately,). I only ever had one parcel delivered by DPD. I've had a few deliveries by UPS which were all oversized items except one.

Ordered a cheap chinese Bluetooth adapter yesterday (Sunday) 6pm
In DPC today, text today and assume delivery tomorrow.
    No issues this week.

Did order a pair of cheapo wireless earbuds as well, which are only due Friday. But doesn't seem to be the blanket delay as with earlier in the year.. sometimes some items do just take longer.
I've followed a few which have made 2 or 3 internal moves within the UK before leaving for Ireland.

They seem to have taken the criticism onboard.

It looks like Amazon started to use their own delivery service in Ireland. One of my orders has been dispatched and has "Amazon" as carrier. I noticed that they even allow to "Request cancellation" while the order is still in transit and not delivered.

Right, my most recent order is with Anpost again.

An Anpost driver I spoke to some two weeks ago mentioned that Amazon were recruiting drivers in Ireland, so that adds up.
