Samantha Markle (Meghan Markle‘s half sister) joins Ray this week to talk about growing up with the Duchess of Sussex, and how a rift has grown between them.

Louise O’Neill will tell Ray about her excitement at seeing the stage adaptation of her novel 'Asking For It' at the Abbey Theatre next month.

And it’s been a great year for 'Dancing With The Stars' winner Jake Carter, who joins Ray to talk about finding love with pro dancer Karen Byrne and his debut Dublin show in Vicar Street this month.

'The Ray D’Arcy Show', Saturday 9.55pm on RTÉ One.

Why does media still give this person air time? Whatever low point D'arcy went to before this is not even scrapping the bottom of the barrel!

Why do any of them (including D'Arcy) get so much airtime.

That's a very poor lineup, so bad that even the RTE canteen regulars won't show their faces.

It's effectively 3 people on promoting their books, plays and shows. Dire stuff and at this stage RTE have to realise that neither D'Arcy nor Tubridy are up to doing it and that there is simply not the space in RTE for 2 shows at the weekend.

Give the LLS to Tommy Tiernan for 2 seasons to see what he makes of it, but this is an appalling waste of licence money.

He could have another sunday evening road trip show coming up. I'll keep an eye on here for when JC comes on. None of the others interest me.

John’s radio show, one of the best, if not THE best, on the airwaves...I’m not even joking!

    Go with the flow :)

John, a pro when it comes to radio presentation.

Last week's thread poll closes in an hour's time - should Ray lose the beard?

From a family of 12, how in the jaysus did people cope back then with that amount of kids?

Like John Creedon. Seems a good fella. The bits I've heard of his radio show were entirely agreeable.

Typical oblique Ray Darcy introduction, assuming all the World knows who Pecker Dunne is.

It doesn't matter. Whichever one is on, they make sure to spend a few mins talking about the other one.

    ''So many NUKES and crannies''

Did John stumble across Ireland's top secret warhead base with which to launch their attack?

If you ever watch Leaders Questions on RTE1 on Thursdays, it nearly always ends early and they show one or more unscheduled clips of Creedon's Roadtrips to fill the gap until the One O Clock News.

It's nice. It's usually about a cafe in Kinnegad.

You don't get that on BBC2 on Wednesdays after Andrew Neil wraps up Prime ministers Question time.
