A few years ago Citylink and Go Bus were at war in Galway and Citylink were offering a few €1 bus fares on each bus. At the same time Ryanair were doing a €2 seat sale.

Got an early morning bus from Galway to Shannon airport for €1.
Flight from Shannon to London for €2. Arrived around 8.30am.
Spend the day in London, checking out mostly free museums and sights. Got an all-you-can-eat Chinese in Chinatown for £5.
Flight back that night (around 9pm) for €2.
Bus back up to Galway for €1.

All for around €11.50 each. Can't remember what the airport-city bus cost but might have been covered by the €8.50 change. :P

Got a link to the book?

Argh you got me on the hop there and now I have blanked on which book it is - as I have read so many. But I think it was NLP & Magic, other secrets by Mathieu Bich. But I probably draw on others books like Reality Is Plastic: The Art of Impromptu Hypnosis by Anthony Jacquin.

Can you persuade somebody to buy me the book so I get it for free? :pac:

    Was only €20 in Superquinn.

The boom times are back again folks! :D

Best 20 quid I spent was probably the 2003 gold Celtic shirt I got on sale when I was a kid, not so much of Celtic fan these days but it's still a gorgeous kit and still have it.

Can you use them to watch video on an Android device without an audio/video lag?

I have wireless earphones which are amazing, there is no problem watching video.

Never knew how much wired earphones annoyed me until I got these.

Probably went I got lost in Slovakia drunk, phone dead, only brought out cash with me for beer. No idea where I was or my friends, no taxis around anywhere at 3am.

After four hours of wandering around I finally made it home and went to a bar near where I was staying and had 7 or 8 pints. Best 20 quid I ever spent

We're counting on ye and Dundalk to get to the cup final again cause 4th will get Waterford into Europe next year

Don't mess up in the semi final, tough draw for ye though

I definitely won't be spending €20 on a bet that City will reach the final again this year :(
Not the only one, debatable whether I get another season ticket,,the agony/ecstacy of bring a CCFC supporter

A pair of boots in Stradbally at a market during the week on Thursday after finishing working my four shifts for advanced volunteering at Electric Picnic, my old boots disintegrating and spotting a great pair of new walking boots for twenty Euro. Perfect for the next three days of lots of walking through the festival site. :)

Almost certainly a groupon deal for a hundred condoms. Saved me a fortune in maintenance!

I'd say a tenner on a large Apache pizza and the other tenner on a 6 pack of cans.

Myself and a mate split it and had a good auld catch up

First they came for the socialists...
