I'm sure there is a thread with the answer, but i haven't found it after about 40 minutes of looking.

Thinking about removing the bump strips on all four doors. Car is 2004 Vectra C GTS (hatchback)

The few threads i found explain they are not too hard to remove with only sticky tape and two clips holding them on.

However my concern is there are holes in the door panel. This would require sanding, welding, respray, etc. which is way more than i want to do.

So can anyone tell me if there are definitely holes behind the strips or is it just the end clips and sticky tape.

    TIA
