The name that I wanted was already in use. So then I just picked the first thing that I heard, I happened to be listening to this song at the time.

I just kept it simple and used my real name.

Because it's NOT my name ;)

redlettermedia's mantra mocking the "super fan" by repeating "very cool" in their Nerd Crew shows.

When I was a kid myself and my brother rented The Naked Gun on VHS ... we thought it was the funniest film ever made, the next week we rented The Naked Gun 2 1/2 - One of the bad guys Hector Savage was in the 2nd film, I always found it a funny spoof villian name.

I couldn't decide on a name... and I've been stuck with a ridiculous username ever since... or have I?

    Legendary Viking - almost God-like.

    Bit like myself, really

My first boardsie username was a bit too identifying: so I deliberately chose a new one that would be gender-neutral and have no indicators of age, location, orientation or anything else.

It was a Monday. Name is the Irish for Monday. (I am willing to be identified as an Irish speaker.)

...........and you picked the most annoying, irritating, lame, weedy, character in the show?

Surely The Cat or Kryten would have been better, cooler usernames

Nothing to do with twitter which I despise

After a character James Gandolfini played in The Sopranos. Got to see him live with Jeff Daniels on broadway in God of Carnage. Some presence he had.

It's a shorter variation of a name I used for Vampire The Masquerade/Mage the Ascension RP characters.

It's also a shorter version of the nick I used for Asheron's call. And my first character for Dark Age of Camelot (since my longer nick was taken).

    Shorter is easier. :D

I tried to think of two unrelated nouns

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,211 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Jason McAteer and Roy Keane has an on field spat when I was registering on boards for the first time. Trigger was mcateers nickname.
The Happy bit was added on because of my perpetual good mood.
