That's so unbelievably dumb by the Treviso 13. He's caught him with an elbow for no reason when a try was already scored.

    Some Like It TOH
    That's unforgivable from Benvenuti.

He even seems to celebrate them dive, lucky that wasn’t a Red. Clearly aiming for the head there!

Like it's late by 6 seconds on a slow mo! Is that not a red - whatever he's trying to do it's illegal and dangerous.

    Mul, it's over
Very lucky to escape with a yellow. Looked like at very least some contact with the head of player on ground. Should be red

Led with the elbow, should have been red

    Great stuff from Sullivan there

Annoying week after week seeing high tackles with no malice what so ever result in red. Then something like that, clear foul play with intent hit a head is a yellow.

That's more than a 10 point breeze imo. Another try before HT would be lovely.

A lads Boyler is a joy to watch. Maybe the most complete player we have.

Bonus Point before half-time, nicely done.

I agree about some incidences of foul play just not been seen/sanctioned but just because a tackle may not have malice doesnt mean you shouldnt red card it.

There is going to be a lot of 'obair' in the second half to win this game

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,967 ✭✭✭✭The Lost Sheep

A first-half try bonus point for only second time in pro14. first was against treviso 4 years and 1 day ago!

Overall a decent first half and Mr Boyle is proving his ability

Great first half but my god Treviso are poor. Boyle's 2nd try was one of the worst tries I've ever seen from a defensive point of view in professional rugby. Anyways, lets finish the job.

Two lovely steals from Delahunt in 2 minutes.

I thought the ref said it was clearly on the ground. How did the tmo over rule that?

    Nice hat trick!

Boyler hat trick, what a captain's performance.

Yeah, did well. Had memories of the howley try in the Heineken Cup a few years ago

I didn't for a while especially with the new captaincy. Do we know why the captaincy was changed?

Boyle was named captain with Butler on the bench originally. Suppose they just left him at it.

Good win, and no injuries ahead of next week which is great!

We finished with 14, Boyle was out, as a precaution.

Hope it's the same for SOB
