Highly recommend Nielsen.Easy to service and an excellent customer service whom you can deal with and buy from directly in Denmark, don't waste your time dealing with their reps here, totally unhelpful and dis intrested in doing a sale or import.Kindly sent me a free replacement front end cap, from a baffle strike[my fault],as they so rarely see one on their products.

The cans are easily stripped and cleaned with the provided tools.Chuck them in a bowl of diesel[as per Nielsens suggestion on cleaning to me] and scrub any carbon deposits off with a toothbrush.Air dry and put a very light bit of copper grease on the threads,as they can become tight with carbon build up, and re assemble.

Downsides. They are a bit heavier than other silencers as they are all steel construction. If it is a flush mounted can, rather than over barrel,a wrap or two of plumbers tape on the threads isn't a bad idea,as I find,in my case anyway with my 223,it can start backing off the muzzle thread .

thanking you, is it the sonic model you have ? Which one if so? Was looking at the RCC hunters in the shop the other day but very little you can tell from there

Got two of them. The Neilsen Sonic Paradox in the 25 cal version which is the flush mount and the Neilsen Sonic 45,over barrel mount in the 30 Cal range.

The higher end Hausken mods are unbelievable for sound suppression. I have a 300 win mag (.308 bullet same as you) and you can comfortably shoot it with no ear protection. It turns it from a cannon to a wisper. It is one of the higher end mods tho.
