Looks like they are doing a Xbox One X deal now. I dont think there is any details on the site, just the below graphic. However, "two select games" is different wording than the "almost any two games" of the PS4 Pro deal.

I sent them a message on facebook and got this response;

Thank you for contacting Gamestop Customer Service,
Any two Xbox One games that have trade value in store will suffice. Basically any two Xbox One games that can be traded-in in store are applicable with this deal.

Odd I rang them up there to ask and the guy told me they have to be from the trade in and save game list. Might try another gamestop and see what they say. Have a feeling maybe the same seeing the add says selected games!

Yep, they will sort out the games for you there, could not tell you overall how much it would come to.

I trawled Adverts.ie and found two games on the list for sale. Bought them for €25 total. Saves €35 on the trade in fee overall if you’re willing to put in the time.

If you use the console a lot, I'd say yes. New console, improved features, twice as powerful, full warranty, etc.

Doesn't matter really if you don't have a 4K TV, people for some reason get fixated on this but at 1080P the One X looks hugely better than the One (like comparing 720p-900p medium settings to 1080p ultra in many cases).

Plus quite a few Xbox 360 titles run upscaled on the One X so also look a lot better than they do on the One.

Would they accept the Forza 3 digital version if the box is unopened? In that case you would only need one of the games from the list like the LEGO ones which are 28 in CEX

GameStop Tallaght too busy at 16:30 today to do the trade. Gave a good tip on the games though, you can pick up south park in Smyth's for a tenner if you're stuck for appropriate games for the trade deal.

Anyone happen to know if GameStop take amex?

They had one last year before the X was out where you could get Fifa 18 and an xbox one S for ~€100 if you trade in your old standard xbox one and any two games (including old valueless games).... I wonder if a (slightly more expensive) offer will come along for the xbox one X and some of the new games coming out like Red Dead 2...

They had an even better one last year where you traded in your Xbox One without any games, paid €70 and got FIFA 18, another game, and a football shirt with the One S.

Keeping an eye out for something similar.

Yes, all in the cloud. You don't need to do anything, it's all automatic.

Just got this. Looked high and low for the cheap games. A lot are gone or out of stock.
But got yoku’s island express. PS4 and Xbox one €13 each. That’s the best I could get in smyths. Happy with that. They would not except my controller. D pad was dodgy and had a rattle. Fair enough. 2 Young’s kids slobbered all over it and threw it around.
Cost me €40 extra. Refurb cost. He was willing to take the controller out of the x but I said No.

Total cost €266.

This. Should only take a couple of minutes if you keep it set up. Otherwise, it's 30+ minutes.
