    Well, that was pure thrash.

    See y'all tomorrow.

    Contenders:

    Laois - Agricultural but solid.
Dublin - Dinky and nicely understated
    Kerry - Outsider
Kilkenny - Could be but we need to get past the teapots
    Carlow - Sympathy

    Favourites:

    Waterford - Too Perfect?
Monaghan - What's not to like?

    What about Jean Byrne?

    Everyone's ready made Rose surely?

    Waterford I reckon.

    Kirsten Mate Maher (Waterford) 13/8
    Shauna Ray Lacey (Carlow) 3/1

    Next 10/1

So the trick seems to be to avoid just having the standard 1st name & surname if you want to win this.

is the swimsuit section on tonight?

Irish winner last year - they might go with someone from US, Canada or Oz to keep the interest going in those centres. I'd say the winner is decided by the interviews with the judges. Unless the preferred choice makes a mess of things on TV, they stay with that result.

Daithi needs to be replaced anyway, he's well past the sell by date now.

Seems like he's not doing it all that long...good luck trying to get rid of that lad- he has nothing else much going on, is from Kerry and well in with the RTE/Gaeilgeoir set. Unless he's on a yearly contract, I've no idea of that.

Too much hype around one can be a bad thing. But I think she'd be a very worthy Rose.

Unsure to be honest. They'd might question her being able to fully commute to her Rose duties due to the kid and it would depend on how she got on during the week.

Have the judges more or less maid up their minds at this stage and unless a rose who wasn't in the frame hits a home run on the TV part ?

The Mayo rose raising awareness around mental health issues. Good to see more awareness and breaking the stigma.

    Something.. common about this girl.

Very contrived response believing Daithi had that selfie..as if.

Some amount of Donegal gals. Solid, safe unspectacular performance. But likeable.

Dubai rose is good. Very natural. Bit of Gaelige no harm and being from abroad this year is essential.

Is there an angry rose who didn't make the final thirty two posting?
