I've also never had an issue except for the other day.

Can I ask about the light switches powered by neutral, do they work with our quirky wiring? Think my house was built around 95. Thanks

I rewired most of the house. There is still more rewiring to be done.

Ran new neutrals to each light switch location.

Have some locations operating in 2 way switching using themes. Like you would have for a stairs top and bottom switch

I don't follow Facebook rarely use it. I'm talking from experience and I've had zero problems with mine it's in use on multiple rooms in my home.

    Facebook is for angry people

Its actually a very active place for setup suggestions, DIY hacks etc. But if you wanna take your experience over hundreds of others I won't bother trying to convince you.

I'd rather take my experience over 100 others too, if the product works for me and my needs then isn't that the whole point for the me the user?

Of course others may have other needs. So they can only share "their" experience and why its not working for them.

Pro's and Cons for everyone and everything.

Facebook is a place for people to moan about pretty much anything. It reflects nothing of real life . Ever.

Which is why I choose to stay off it.

There are better placed to get DIY hacks .and Facebook certainly isn't the place.

    Thanks but no thanks.

Again can you tell me how many times your sonoff has not worked this year ? Was it every two days as you stated ?

Hi all, I've a couple of these plugs that are surplus to requirements. Never opened or used them.

Happ to let them go to a new home - €10 for both if anyone is interested.

Got 3 delivered this week.. cannot get them to work at all..
get as far as renaming the plug and it tells me it will take 1-2 mins to complete and then nothing..
it appears on the device list as offline and will not go online..

I've tried all 3 with the same outcome.. I have other wifi plugs set up in the house.. TP-LINK no issues at all.

I have tried all the tips on here, used different phones and tablets... through Alexa and the eWeLink app also..

    any suggestion??

    Hi Deremol

Just wondering if you had any luck. I only bought 1 as I wanted to see if this whole smart plug thing suits me. Typically they one I bought I cannot get to work. Like you I got as far as renaming the device but it stays off line.

I've set it up beside the router. I've changed channel to 10. I've deleted devices of my router and also turned off 5g WiFi so only 2.4g working.

I'm about ready to give up!

Ordered 3 x more of these back on the 25th of November , and they're still showing as "processing" on their website.

Took the money instantly right enough.

Looks like they didn't have the stock to begin with.

Can’t check your tracking if they haven’t shipped yet.
Mine still says processing from the 25th too.

I just asked for a refund.

I'm not happy that they will have had my money a full month (near enough) before they bother their asses sending the goods out.

    Got this sorted.

    I pulled out old router.
The plugs could then connect to internet and disconnect from my app.

Then was able to set them up again on the new router.

Well that's the simple version.. :)

    All back up and running
