No need to get legends edition, just means more VC (virtual currency to buy stuff) and cards for My Team.

NBA Live career mode has you choosing between Street ball and nba and mixing both. I loved the street games so had a lot of fun with with. NBA League wise, 2k does a much better job. 2k20 has the best gameplay of the series in a long time so i wouldn't go with anything earlier.

If you're into street ball, i really things nba live either 18 or 19.

Been meaning to ask you about this, with 2k being on sale right now, and the Legendary edition is only €5 more. Is the VC still tied to your career? Or its not as bad as 19?

Live was grand, but it just didn't have the feel of 2k, which to me feels far better. Nearly pulled the trigger on the legendary edition, but if the vc is not needed/neglible I might get the standard.

Edit: Never mind, they're not on sale anymore!

Crap it's not on sale, was a good bargain. If it comes up again, yes the vc is still tied to career mode. You start off **** and with about 180,000 vc, you can boost your player to 85. Basically the legendary edition is like starting the game at a normal level. It's actually easier to level up this year compared to last so you could pick up the base game and grind to 85 much faster than previous years. Career is still tied to online street ball though and people will avoid you like the plague of you're under 85.

Base game is currently 25 euro from Smyths

I played it on a base PS4, didn't really have any issues as far as I can remember.

I am going to play through it again on the pro seeing as there's a dlc I didn't know about.

It has definite frame rate drops in places when the action ramps up.

After devouring it in just over a week I can't say it's anything that would spoil enjoyment.

Every time you unpause it it freezes for 1-2 seconds. And in some of the bigger fights the frame rate probably halves or even more but not for very long. Didn't bother me at all but I know a lot of people can't handle that.

I'm just starting it on a base slim PS4, and I see a lot of slow down when I move the camera quickly - I'm not exactly far in either, just heading for the Comms room, which is about an hour in.

I'll stick with it for now.

Yeah it's really infuriating, and it's not accidental. They've done similar with the last MK and Injustice games, though not to this extent.

I bought the Premium edition of MK11 when it came out for the Kombat Pack without realising how the extra characters would be so spread out over the course of a year, to the point I stopped playing it ages ago and haven't even played some of the new characters.

Just finished replaying the Story Mode in advance of the Aftermath expansion, but I'm going to wait until it's on sale to buy it, if at all. I'll just watch the Story mode section on Youtube (because I'm a sucker for their Story Mode). €40 can f*ck right off, that's just a slap in the face for those who supported the game from the start. €25, maybe €30 at most would be fair. But it's put me off not just this DLC, but from buying future NRS games at launch. As much as I f*cking loved MK11, I can no longer justify or support this.
