I’d say Fateen looooves attending funerals, especially when there’s an opportunity to look at a laid out corpse.

It's the Christians who cannot obey a simple request to stay behind the fupping barriers for a couple of hours who should be ashamed of themselves. Diabolical behavior and the type of people who'd ring their solicitor before they ring a doctor if the bloody Popemobile ran over their foot.

Only other solution would be to put every Garda in the country in the Park today and rack up the costs even more.

In 1979 the crowds were very disciplined. I think in those days it was a matter of more distant reverence, today he’s like a rock star they want to touch.

Years ago I worked with an unwell man (diagnosed paranoid schizophrenia) who used to spend lunch hour across the road looking at the corpses laid out. He let on his was a relative of the deceased until Massey’s copped on that he had so many relations who died in a short period and “persuaded” him to stop by ringing HQ of my employer.

For Joe? Nah he’s getting paid handsomely enough already.

Even though he’s not an English speaker the Pope, when he says the cúpla focal, pronounces it perfectly well.

I’m not listening. Wat did he say about de buke?

You can do de calculations for Fateen and send in the wages sheet to RTE, cheque to be paid to Joe plus 10% fee cheque made out to Buttersuki for de accountancy work.

It's almost as if the two are different languages!

(... or indeed that there's different pronunciation standards in play here.)

He veered very near a full plug, but was very emphatic in his reminding us of de Troubles and chiselers an dat wot doyed during it.

He’s on air for 4 hours, but he’s mentioned almost as much as he’s plugged his buke in 2-16 and 2-16 combined dat he was going to be in de Feenix Park on Friday and all day Saturday for rehearsals and dat and all day Sunday for de mass itself so to speak. As a contractor and not an employee he’ll be ENTITLED to submit billing for all of those hours - and weekend/Sunday rates where applicable. If we take his 3 years out of date Lahv Lahn rate of €2,000 per hour when you factor all the multiples in he could hit six figures for de 3 days.

    I’m not joking.

In fairness, what he's doing today, you'd train a monkey to do it.
