Avenatti not backing off. Said there are two witnesses.

Alternative letter signed by women saying this was not the Kavanaugh they knew and never heard of Swetnick.

The last letter signed by women claiming the same about Kavanaugh after the allegations by ford became public has seen names dropping off the list.

Yesterday it emerged that nine football players from Georgetown Prep, including Kavanaugh, made references to 'Renate Alumnus' in the yearbook. It has now emerged that this reference (14 times in the yearbook) is a reference boasting about the sexual conquest of Renate Schroder Dolphin in high school (this has been confirmed by other students in the school). Dolphin was one of the women who signed the first letter.

Needless to say - Dophin was not aware of the reference and its intent, and is absolutely livid about this stating 'the insinuation is horrible, hurtful and simply untrue'.

It has also emerged that several of the women who signed the first letter never met or knew of Kavanaugh in high school. When Politico contacted the 65 women only two of those willing to respond said that they stood by their support for Kavanaugh.

A bit like where The Facebook came from. Lads rating their female co-students, almost innocent compared to this.

I'm waiting to see if the news conference is a doozy or a slap-down of both Kavanaugh for not being more forward in attacking his accuser and the senate committee for allowing the accuser a public rostrum, whatever he will say about the accuser/s. He's allegedly had a pop at Kavanaugh for not being hard enough on her. I'm assuming the prosecutor-lawyer doing the questioning will have laid out the ground rules with the committee so they don't try to use her to grandstand and force her to tell them not to interfere or she'll withdraw from the proceedings. Game on with conference.

Edit... Precis of Don's interview: They're all con artists but I'll listen to her and then decide if she's telling the truth. It was interesting to see him being obliged to take questions from women journalists.

Farmers getting mentioned a lot. Must be worried about the rust belt votes in the mid terms.

Some Twitter user made a good point earlier. Trump has 54.7 million Twitter followers and managed to get 75 thousand likes for the below tweet. Avenatti has 810 thousand followers and managed to get 88.5 thousand likes for his response below. Even his own supporters can't be bothered to acknowledge his awesomeness.

    Donald J. Trump

Avenatti is a third rate lawyer who is good at making false accusations, like he did on me and like he is now doing on Judge Brett Kavanaugh. He is just looking for attention and doesn’t want people to look at his past record and relationships - a total low-life!

    Replying to
    @realDonaldTrump
“False accusations?” Like those crimes your fixer Cohen pled to? You are an habitual liar and complete narcissist who also is a disgrace as a president and an embarrassment to our nation. You are so inept that your “best and brightest” are Cohen and Giuliani. Let’s go.

On a side note how sad is it that all of this is reduced to a Twitter spat. How low has the office of POTUS sunk.

So china wants him to lose an election. Btw for those checking trump isn't up for election this year. So how can the alleged interference effect him if he's not running.

Commenting on the federal reserve raising interest rates and how he isn't happy.

What the Dems have done to Kavanaugh's WIFE. Good grief, from the mouth of Trump.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,693 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

He more or less said the three women are liars.

Any bets on him being rescued by Kelly and replaced with Sanders? Trump's not too happy out there.

So he now says he might change his mind tomorrow when he hears the women testimony. Jesus stick to a position good or bad.

George Washington being mentioned for some reason.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,693 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

His stance is surprisingly normal, he wants to hear the ladies and make his mind up and has said he could be persuaded either way. That makes sense really.

Very wishy washy, hoping the GOP Senators do his dirty work for him.
Female reporters not leaving him away with his comments about accusers.

He doesn't even know if one or three women will give testimoney.

That would make sense I agree if it hadn't been preceding by him more or less calling the three women liars.

Not when he says “these are all false - to me”.
