Maybe anyone on two black cards might be rested but I doubt it. Momentum and only losing one game all year are reason enough. It's not in the DNA to take a fall as far as I can see.

Come on threeball, don't you know you have to be negative if you wanna win!!! Have you not been listening? :)

Donegal were beaten out the gate not so long ago by Galway. Teams can make a lot of progress in a short space of time.

    And....

He has a way of backing very aggressively into the defender and trying to buy a free, surprised he isn't penalised more for it. I didn't think he got any more attention today than most forwards get in the modern game.

Rubbish. Every time a ball comes his way there are two to three arms over his shoulders holding him down. It has been happening his entire career and it rarely gets called, today was no different. The amount of bitter nonsense written about him after every time he plays is shameful given what he has contributed to the game.

Monaghan player (can’t remember who) went for O’Shea with a closed fist in the first half and ref waved it on. I don’t see any calls for a sending off there. Ref was very weak today generally speaking.

Joe makes all the decisions now. Thanks for that.

Yes that's it now. Roscommon are in the losers league along with 25 others at the moment. We're down to the elite 7's.

You can't just judge a team on one year. Teams evolve like Galway did this year and Donegal.

McStay should get a long ban for that. Disgraceful carry on.

    Kerry are done for.

Galway will run out the B team and save themselves for the semi final. Monaghan to give them a thumping and March into the semis alongside them

Lol, wishful thinking. Why would they do that and guarantee playing Dublin in the semi?

    I never said ye could.

And according to Brolly, the cause of the problem was that Roscommon are not playing in a 2nd tier - how many teams does he want to be in the top tier?!

We'll be negative as you want Francie if you're happy enough with the draw. Only fair the two best teams go through... once we're on top ;)

He backs in to players, that is why he looks like he is being fouled. You clearly bought it.

He does get fouled too. Nobody is denying that.

So what you're saying is two wrongs make a right?

Donaghy swung back in a VERY obvious striking motion that the referee saw. He actually made partial contact. The ref gave him a yellow card for a red card offense. That's all that matters.

As for Donaghy's career. I don't know anybody in gaelic football who has got so many soft frees over the years. Remarkable how easily he goes down for a man his size. And you have the cheek to say "it rarely gets called"

We're going for a super 4 next year who'll play 8 times and fcuk the rest.

Roscommon or Armagh would still hammer some of the other teams, so you'd need a C championship also.

It's a joke. Every analyst on The Sunday Game is pushing this stuff, the president is pushing this stuff. No one in the 'lesser counties' want this. They want 6 top teams and to boot everyone else out, this will destroy Gaelic Football.

You'll have to depend on kildare in that case ;)

Oh 2 losers leagues then! This will kill Gaelic Football in these counties. We have to stop this before it's pushed through by the elitists.

Yeah, pathetic excuses made by Brolly for McStay just because he was a Sunday Game analyst, i can just imagine the reaction on RTE if someone like Kieran McGeeney or Mickey Harte did what McStay did.

The top 6 teams generally play boring, low risk football

It's a joke for the big counties with all the money, they're in cahoots with the top brass. They have no interest in the health of our games on a national level.
We've seen it in hurling. Teams from the losers leagues there receive no coverage, they are patronised with false praise, hurling is not getting stronger through this.
Players turning their back on inter county football is already high in many counties, kicking them out of the championship would just kill the game in these places.

His interview afterwards showed that he had no remorse. A lengthy ban should be forthcoming!

Corofin are an outstanding collective but are not full of outstanding players. The couple you might suggest like the farraghers aren't interested in committing to inter county football as far as I can see and who can blame them. Dylan wall is still very young and molloy and Burke are on the panel as is the goalie. There's not many others you would say are inter county players.

Liam Silke away in the US for the Summer too. He would likely be in the Galway team somewhere.

Too late. Brolly has spoken. You'd be as well off trying to stop a rolling train with a tuc biscuit as stop the wheels that are in motion now.

I'm just glad it didn't happen last year when we were crap. 😋

Yeah, as I've said, look at the low attendances, even the counties in the elite 8 aren't showing much interest. If the GAA want to back the elite 8 horse they will lose and lose badly.
The losers league 1 and 2 will have tiny attendances also. We don't want it!

I have always thought that Kevin McStay is a decent straight talking man with a huge passion for Gaelic Football, but yesterday he was out of order and should be banned for what he did.

Not saying two wrongs make a right but It was far from the only bad call today Monaghan could have had several players go for off the ball stuff. Nobody seems to care about that but let’s all have a go at Donaghy who was being fouled all day long.

As for your bitter statement above about Donaghys career, it’s a bit sad that you need to tear down a man with his achievements. Can’t be bothered responding to such nonsense.
