Ah balls that was before the hooter. Scrum should have played.

FFS stuff like that is basic calls.

    Cracking test match.

Pocock gets away with murder consistently.

And also that knock on was before the hooter.

Ireland have been unlucky with tight calls today so far.

Looks like Beirne wasn't happy with the tackle on Conway for the try.

Knock on was before the 40 minutes were up too. Ireland screwed by the ref in those last few minutes.

Not happy with the ref blowing that up.

I agree and Pocock was off his feet before that, should have been an Ireland penalty. Crucial decisions. I really hate that refs do this.

Two bad decisions against Ireland at the end when we were heaping pressure.

Murray's kick there was so bad I was certain I'd missed advantage called. Headless.

Shocking decision there. Pocock was blessed.

POM won a turnover earlier when it was obvious in real time that he supported his weight on his hands before going for the ball. The breakdown is a complete lottery.

Belter of a game. Referee has been good for the most part. So much happening it's hard to pick up on everything.

We're getting a very good latch on lots of carries to eliminate their breakdown steals. But the second 40 is where they turned the screw last time. Let's see how we go.

POM is playing brilliantly. Sexton having a great game as is Furlong. Midfield so much more cohesive. Ringrose far more comfortable and we've gotten the ball wider.

I thought Carbery went well in the first half of the first test.

But the difference Sexton has made is ridiculous.

    Pocock was legal there

We absolutely should've scored a try in the last few minutes. Hopefully that doesn't come back on us. Wasted that break by Furlong.

Ringrose also. Creativity in that midfield makes a massive difference. His pass for the Furlong break was beautiful.

Thought so too. Was screaming at the TV when I realised.

Turnover on henshaw and the early blow up when we had a scrum - two really bad calls.

Ref doing fine lads - like how he will only be talked to from the captains
Thought Pen Try was right call but the yellow on top was harsh on Healy
Scrum should have been played though there at the end of the half

Shame Conway gone, but Larmour looking lively
Sexton shanked penalty attempt aside he has been brilliant again for me

Wallaby indiscipline keeping Ire in it.
Ire have hads loads of possession but can't do anything with it, except kick it up in the air and hope to catch it.

    Wallabies are far more clinical.

He is not bad but not great. I don't want to whinge about the ref, but he has made 3 very poor decisions. Blowing early when a potential try looked on for larmour, the ridiculous pocock penalty and denying us an attacking scrum at the end by blowing early.

But big step up from last week in terms of intensity.

    O'Mahoney absolutely brilliant so far.

Australia braindead at times. That quick tap penalty was one of the worst calls I've ever seen in International Rugby.

No idea how they are still in the game with the amount of stupid penalties given away.

    Tip tackle was stupid.

Pocock's playing a rule abolished a year ago.

Another idiotic tackle off the ball.

Tough on Conway to have to go off after scoring the try.

Ireland should kick on to win this by a handful unless Australia tighten up the discipline.

I wouldn't say they've been clinical at all to be honest. Other than the opening try where Ireland were caught asleep, and the penalty try for the collapsed maul, Australia haven't really done anything when they've had the ball.

I said ireland would need to build a lead in the first half to win this game. Hope I'm wrong.

So another ref is against is screwing over Ireland. What a surprise

Come on it's a good match and he hasn't made any major errors. That last turnover by Pocock, he was on his feet, hands on the ball and the clean out (by Toner?) took him over to Ireland's side of the ruck. Fair call.

In fairness, he took a year off. Probably just catching up.

If you award a penalty try you are obligated to yellow card the player that offended if they can be identified

There'll always be cries about the ref when close calls are decided against your team.

Something NZ fans wouldn't know about considering refs never actually penalise them ;)
