Seems his girlfriend, Asia Argento (one of the Weinstein accusers) may have been having an affair and Bourdain had become aware that the photos below had been taken of the pair (or so an Italian news site is suggesting at least, TMZ also).

The images were included in many articles on June 5th (such as this one) and his last Twitter and Instagram posts were on June 4th.

I was fairly shocked to hear this tbh.

Really really admired the man for the way he was able to take a no-bullshhit approach without the macho nonsense that some lads think has to accompany that.
