Maybe it is just the stuff I like but there has been a spate of Monday gigs it seems. Had Wolf Parade on a Monday earlier in the year, Broken Social Scene next Monday, the Monday of FF is all that I care for, Why? on a Monday too. Now Chemical Brothers on a Monday. :-| I also skipped out on Belle & Sebastian for being a Monday. There has to be some thought given to sales/touring schedules etc... I guess tickets still sell here regardless of which day of the week it ends up on.

Thats exactly the reason for so many mid week gigs here ,they know demand will be high so no need to waste a Friday or Saturday night on a venue.

I was thinking a festival set too. I'd much prefer that than in the 3arena. Maybe im just grumpy that its on a Monday night
