Don't need to twist your words, your opinion on the choice (or lack thereof) for raped women is here for all to see.

Have the last word if you want it.

Translated.. I'm having the last word.

Are you trying to say over 90% of abortions are rape. Spoofing there Gonzo.

No side ridiculing themselves at this stage. Terrible performance all round.

This barrister seems to be the only one with a brain in his head.

Says clauses could have been added to the eighth cover FFA and rape.

And many of these exact same people would still oppose it.

Oh wow, Fidelma making an absolute balls of that.

"We can amend the constitution for rape and FFA"

"Would you vote for that though, Fidelma?"

    <smiles back stupidly>

    Hilarious.
    You couldn't make it up!
She suggested that and then when asked would she back it.... I would have to look seriously at it.... Lol

Maybe it’s my bias showing but in my opinion every single No person they’ve spoken to tonight is cold and hold a remarkable lack of empathy. The Yes side exude warmth and compassion and are by far the better speakers.

It seems this whole referendum has been based on extreme cases

I hear this a lot from the no side.

The "easy" cases go to the UK.
If that escape valve didn't exist the 8th would have been removed 20 + years ago. We even made constitutional amendments to protect it.

The 8th in and of itself creates the hard cases.
    Bad laws make hard cases.

That's why the yes side talk about them.

Why wasn't that proposed by the pro-life side at any time in the last 35 years. It is because they were implacably opposed to any change that we now have arrived at the current proposal!

Didn't a judge say this was unconstitutional already?

Why does this Ascough one keep getting air time?

Yeah, sick of seeing her, what are her qualifications for being a spokesperson for this? Beyond being impeached as president of the SU at UCD?

It boils down to, do you want to decide your own future, or do you think other people should decide for you?

How many would vote No if they were voting to halt abortion across the whole world? At the moment they know at the back of their minds "sure they can just go to England if they're desperate"- if they were voting to stop it everywhere, they would be unable to ignore the fact that they want to FORCE women to give birth. It's nightmarish really.

This 11th hour revisionism by the No side on FFA and rape is pathetic.

Where was your compassion after Savita and the abc cases.

    It's a 50/50 debate tonight.

Anyone claiming victory for either side are blinded by their own viewpoint.

A change to our constitution must be put to the people. That's why it's not a thing that happens all the time.

So Simon Harris says the greatest protector of the unborn are mothers as he wants to bring in abortion to allow more unborn to be not born.

She’s saying it like we all think it’s like watching an episode of Peppa Pig or something. Of course it’s unpleasant, and that’s the whole point around the whole “hey can we do that over here and not over there” thing.

She had to go a long way to find something more violent than how quickly she was impeached when she attempted to use her SU office for her own agenda.

I disagree, I think Simon Harris quite clearly out-debated Peadar Toibin.

If your claiming 50/50 then it must have been a disaster for the no side
