I've just heard that Maria Steen has pulled out of the Pat Kenny debate tomorrow night. Toys out of the pram.

He clarified those positions on morning Ireland.
So the official report says not one single thing about the 8th being to blame and agrees fully that Savita should have had a termination under well established legal precedent.
    Glad you've finally agreed.

So that everyone knows. Amnesty International is backing YES. I stopped my 10 year plus monthly donation to them when I realised.

    Spread the word no side.

That must have been one cosy cave you've been living in for the last 5 years...

Low blows there from Peadar. Simon seems really passionate, good to see

I have huge admiration for him right now.

It is great that Simon is speaking so passionately and concisely. I am pleasantly surprised.

He is a monkey ,he says what he has been coached to say .

He did very well on that point.

He didn’t answer, people aren’t fools they know why he didn’t answer.

So it's the governments fault that women are travelling to Britian ? Ah come on now please. Why the heck are people clapping ? Ffs this isn't up for the match.

Harris is an awful wanker. Such a sneery head on him

Both sides should have chosen better speakers

Harris constantly looking at the monitor to check himself out. Must spend an age in the morning in front of the mirror.

Simon Harris is more than capable against Peadar Tóibín on the Prime Time debate.

Peader is out of his depth and clearly has no issue with rape victims being forced to give birth to the rapist offspring. Shameful

Both sides have clapped. All audience members should have their hand tapped together!

He's a politician. They're all coached before they leave their bedrooms in the morning.

So you believe what you think he said then but not now?
I copied and pasted directly from the official report. Verbatim.
The investigation team is aware that clinical circumstances can and have arisen in Ireland where a termination of pregnancy is an appropriate and necessary clinical step in the medical treatment and care of a patient.
Is that what I "believe" he said?
Do you think he lied when he wrote the report?

It's arguably worse to kill an unborn child at 11 weeks.

Do women demand there be abortion?

"Where they ask for a termination...on demand

They just love the adding "on demand bit.

I would think 80% of people have not read the proposals in this referendum, they will simply vote Yes or No but have no clue of the finer details.

    No its not

Peadar Toibin refuses to answer the question of whether or not he would force a raped woman to go through with a pregnancy and then flippantly and shamelessly goes on a party political rant.

What an absolute piece of shít!

The no side think women use abortions like sky boxes, really shows their view of women

People who leave the country for abortions obviously aren't in danger health wise, therefore they are social abortions / abortions on demand.

Care to explain what a "social abortion" is? Or are you just parroting off a new buzzword you just picked up from a pro life website/leaflet?

    Father is on the fence.
He preferred the woman at the start just by how the other guy messed up the second half of his speech.
    GP's were closer.
He's preferring Peadar at the moment!
