    Needs elaboration please.

Like they should be imprisoned, deported, exterminated?

More like you have to like them, or you will be cut down with his cheap Katana he got off a pikey in Fairyhouse market.

I read the first post of the other thread. Regarding an adult playing video games, have a look in the retro and arcade sub forum. I'm new there but it sounds like the lads there are normal people, work, have kids, wife etc. Can't say it seems they're incapable of a life.

Gaming is the most profitable entertainment industry and the average gamer is generally said to be 35. Nothing wrong with playing video games as it's stimulating for the brain and promotes hand eye coordination.

We don't berate people for being emotional over their favorite sports teams winning/losing, or give people grief for being a movie buff or passionate about music.

As long as they aren't locked in their room with a porn additction or drugs or something it doesn't really matter what they do as long as they have a healthy life. What's important is someone is somewhat social, has a job they're happy in etc. The hobbies don't really matter.

You mentioned sports, just because someone doesn't play football or whatever isn't a bad thing. I'm 26, I built my first computer when I was 15 and generally hailed as a nerd. Playing call of duty online wasn't a thing back then until a year or two later. People didn't use online forums or anything or talk to strange men on gaming forums. Now it's all very common. I despised football in school, more of a fan of cycling. Not everyone likes sports, but there's a chance they would like something else. I used to watch NBA and downhill mountain biking. Both fairly niche.

I don't know age you're referring to but a lot of people don't have a chance to be themselbe until their 20s. It wasn't until I was in college where I met people with similar interests in gaming and computers, started cycling etc.

    Sorry, long post :)

Adolescence can be so so difficult for lads like that, added to that, separated parents and a big ol bang of worry and disappointment coming from his dad.

    The poor kid.

    Neckbeards

    - bringing Old School Traditionalist Men and Angry Feminist Women together in mutual hatred of them since the 2006 *-

    * seriously its bizarre how two groups that should be completely at odds can agree that neckbeards need to be abused, personally I think it reflects really badly on the feminists though as old school men aren't meant to care about mocking people for having a weird personal appearance, social awkwardness, unpopular hobbies and lacking traditional masculinity , Feminists though it comes across very bad as they are meant to be all for the idea that its ok to be a non-Traditional Man
