Are you an earlier riser? one that gets up early and has everything done and prepared with plenty of time to spare? or are you the kind of person who gets up last minute and just runs out the door.

Im more of the last minute kind of guy, tend to have the shower the night before so I don't have that hassle, my morning usually consists of scoffing down a quick cereal and running out the door, always ends up a bit of a rush in the end. I've always threatened to try the 6:00 AM start, you'd have plenty of time and could even get some exercise in, but the moment I see 6:00 AM on my alarm I always balk and go back to sleep.

So what are you? and if if you are the early bird any tips on doing it and sticking it out?

I get up when I want, except on Wednesdays when I get rudely awakened by the dustman.

I put my trousers on, have a cup of tea and I think about leaving the house.

I stay in bed as long as possible in the morning, Monday to Friday. Last minute dash out the door.

No problem getting up early at the weekends.:)

I need time to get ready at ease.. I hate rushing..

Depends whether I have an erection or not.

Usually 05:30 I'm up and doing some light mobility work in an outdoor gym (weather doesn't bother me).

Breakfast, then cycling to work by 8am.

Weekends are more or less the same, but instead of cycling to work I'll scrub the house from top to bottom while listening to either the radio or a Joe Rogan podcast.

At lie in for me is 7am (ish).

You're scrubbing the house early on weekends? There's two threads running on two lazy husband's, you might give them some inspiration!

Work days, 7am. Days off, 8.30 to 9am. If happen to be off on a Sunday, or last day off before back at work, could be 10.30 to 11am.

06:30 if I'm working. Sh|t, shave, shower, and then goto work.
Noon or just before noon if I'm off.

8am when I’m working Monday to Friday

Don’t get up until 1:30pm or even 2 on Saturdays and Sundays

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,674 ✭✭✭Skatedude

Shift worker, so up at 5:40am to get to work on day shifts or 4pm if working nights. But never out of bed before midday on my days off, i hate mornings as they do not suit me. My body clock likes nights and i much rather work all nights if I could.

Usually I don't want to see anybody come the weekend, I just want to relax.
