What's with the young'uns fascination with the 80s?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,326 ✭✭✭AllForIt

Why are some fools smuggling beer in to the country at current insane low prices, are they backward?

It's the cheating the system thing that gets them off. Prices are irrelevant.

    Stepped out for a sec.

    Who's playing the keyboards?

It's almost as if Ireland didn't want to win Eurosong!!

I genuinely believe we deliberately set out not to have to host it. It’s about time he easiest thing to do, except one year it might backfire a bit like in comedy film The Producers.

No Micky Joe Harte..boo. They played it in Coppers one night, it rocked the place to the foundations :D

Great song! Should have won in my opinion even though it sounds very similar to 'Fly On The Wings Of Love' by the Olsen Brothers. :)

"I play synth : we all play synth"... "Indeterminate sexual preference, something shiny on my necklace"...

    In fairness they sound grand.

    Like Morrissey, only less racist.

I'm in the fortunate position of not having watched a LLS in about 10 years before tonight. Is it always like this??

    Sigh.

This is slightly above the usual quality.

Im not a fan of the film but everyone I know seems to love it.

There are 15 covers there that are 10 times better than anything we've sent to the eurovision in 20 years.

So were these rapes where in court the perpetrators were found guilty?

The dry humping was a real highlight. The drummer just kept going. An honest pro.

What I never ever can understand is how someone can rape someone and use drink as an excuse, it doesn't add up or medically make sense.

Was there an aura around him or was that the sun tan! :)

last time I heard Ryan introduce a musical act like that it was one of Gerry Ryans Daughters lip syncing and dancing. I wonder who these guys are related to

It's a wonder he didn't have Rex Ryan on, as GRyan anniv was on Mon:o
What's with the young'uns fascination with the 80s?

Maybe Millenials don't realise good music ;)
Ironically i came across an 80's video channel last night, Big Tunes, Bad Hair, Bono, Bob & Johnny was but a few:D

Was there or wasn't there a time when they kept some sort of comedian till last?

Usually Pat Shortt or similar. Did that happen?

Is it not absolute basic showbiz to try to finish on a high note??
