    1980s pop music

    And awful 1980s fashion

How the hell were punks, skins & heavy metal-heads etc of the 70s replaced by "New Romantics" in the 80s? I think most teenagers in the 1980s were somehow poisoned or hypnotised.

Listen to Vienna by Ultravox and tell me 80’s music was bad.

There was plenty of innovative music created in the 80s across multiple genres.

The stock and financial markets and "maximisation of profit".
It just built today's culture of pissing on the farmer, the manufacturer, retailer and the consumer.
Just so that some fat guy in a suit in a glass and marble palace in London or New York can get the biggest possible slice for himself at the expense of all the above without actually contributing anything productive or useful.
Everything for the shareholders at the expense of anyone else, governments or the planet, because profit is more important than smog in China, deforestation, poisoned rivers, billions of tons of rubbish or a gigantic plastic patch in the ocean. It's definitely more important than millions of starving children.
It's pissing on the planet so a tiny amount of people can rake in billions for themselves, money which is removed from circulation, at the expense of schools, hospitals, education and social services.
The planet can do without a tiny, tiny number of useless parasites that skim an obscene amount of momey from honest, hardworking people so they can live in obscene wealth while half the planet is starving.

Of course not. But your link does include this paragraph, which pretty much sums up why I think the 80s music scene should be erased from history:

The 1980s are commonly remembered for an increase in the use of digital recording, associated with the usage of synthesisers, with synth-pop music and other electronic genres featuring non-traditional instruments increasing in popularity. Also during this decade, several major electronic genres were developed, including electro, techno, house, freestyle and Eurodance, rising in prominence during the 1990s and beyond. Throughout the decade, R&B, hip hop and urban genres were becoming commonplace, particularly in the inner-city areas of large, metropolitan cities; rap was especially successful in the latter part of the decade,[8] with the advent of the golden age of hip hop. These urban genres—particularly rap and hip hop—would continue their rise in popularity through the 1990s and 2000s.

    Ugh

    Multiculturalism..

Not natural migration that has happened through human history..but the wholesale importation of people.

Still haven't found a good argument for it. Seems to be an issue before it happens with lots of ism's accusations it of you don't like it.

And once it has happened it's a proverbial shoulder shrug and well they are here not mentality.

The hard work, good choices and high achievement of their ancestors decided it. They're part of a successful bloodline.
