That one just reeks of a property being sold by CAB.

Wouldn't touch it with a bargepole as I imagine that the new owner(s) will have a few visitors advising them to seek alternative accommodation elsewhere....

My thoughts when i looked at the pictures and saw the address.

Stick a shop at the side, handy way to do your "laundry" :pac:

On a sidenote, do you know why Ice cream vans will be doing the rounds during the depths of winter while it is - 5 out and pis!ing down.........................

The most alarming thing about that is that it's sale agreed

You'd think they'd have the good sense to cut off the "similar properties required" before putting up the sign

A house with what looks like four solid walls and a roof on an acre for €15K. Maybe I'm missing something but in the right hands I think that looks like a bargain.

I always want to hug these houses. That one clearly has been loved and lived in and yes it should be a home again... Very tired etc just now and am looking at houses on daft. This is a lovely one! Thank you

Unless you are working from home in a well paid job because Cashel isnt near anywere. You are going to have problems funding either a knock and rebuild or a massive restoration. Maybe I am lacking imagination or just lazy

    It has no access.

So possibly only one or two people with land bordering it can buy it?

At my age I am a dreamer! I do not think of it in those terms.. just send out loving vibes! Someone chose and put up that wallpaper, took pride in the house. It would be a happy house .......

It's adjacent to the R692 when you look at the satellite map. I don't see how there could be no access.

if you wanted to create an access to that road you need planning permission.

How could you get planning for a house without access. There must be some way into it.

I'm not trying to be awkward but surely there was access to that house from the road in the past? How did the previous owners get in and out of the house?

It looks like there's some awkwardness about what you actually get, the adjoining shed and entrance don't seem to be included in the sale...

Whats for sale is owned by the council. The adjoining propery is subject to a land purchase annuity and owned privately. (The bit with the entrance)

Is there a right of way into the house through that entrance?

If there isn't, I'd imagine it's pretty easy to get planning permission for an opening onto that road as it's a fairly straight part of the road.
