    nah, the benefits of cycling outweigh the dangers by a factor of anywhere between 11 to 1 and 70 to 1, depending on which study you read.

    if you're reading a superficial statistic which only takes negative outcomes due to accidents into account, instead of looking at the mode of transport as a whole, i guess the answer the OP was referring to might be cycling.
    but if you examine the mode of transport and include the general unhealthy aspects inherent in the mode itself, i suspect driving will start to look a lot less ideal again.

    Space shuttle is definitely the most dangerous. More deaths from that percentage wise than any other other form of transport

    3 people sat in a trolley with fireworks attached, a rope tied to the back with an eejit on rollerblades holding onto it. Down a bridge.

    I did this as a child. A miracle nobody was injured. Someone's ma always caught us.
