They had one in the shop for a long time. It was either a demo or second hand model. Obviously they couldn't shift it.

    Yep that's right.

Not enough interest so it went back over to the UK and on to Germany.

    2-stokes ftw.

Ice-pop stick clacking on the e-bike back wheel - sorted!

    :D

    Not your ornery onager

JD BMW told me yesterday that if after 5 years the battery pack goes below 80% capacity that a new battery pack will be fitted by BMW free of charge.

Also for a full on major service of the battery pack and electronics the bike has to go back to Baveria.

BMW never do anything free of charge. Just because you don’t see the cock going up your arse doesn’t mean it’s not there.

I absolutely love Fortnine's review of the Zero FX. Much like the bike itself, it's silent but you get a very good idea of their opinion of the bike.

    edit:
Preview isn't working for some reason so here's a direct link:

Who's selling these in the UK ?

I'm actually seriously thinking of importing either a Brammo or Zero.

Id appreciate it if you'd post up progress....

I need a big thirsty 4wd for towing but its killing me to fork over thousands in fuel/maintenance for general use.....would look seriously at electric bike option ........not a huge fan of skinny tire scrambler/enduro style machines although I presume the lighter the more range etc

Looks like there's a few places in the UK.

I contacted these guys - http://englishelectricmotorco.com/ - They were happy to export to Ireland, but I didn't follow through on it as I don't want the hassle if something is wrong with the bike.
