Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Amazed no card. Williams slid in but the contact looked horrible.

    That's a terrible call.

Just on the Kearney tackle, Garces says the blue player never put his arms out... but if he did he still would have (accidentally) tackled/clotheslined Liam Williams in the head... really hard call to make those sorts of incidents

The penalty was harsh and I thought there was a forward pass in the move leading up to it

No arm tackle. Shoulder to the head. Slip from Williams is the mitigating factor though

Crap time to concede a try! Don’t let them back in at all

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,149 ✭✭✭mangobob

Would not starting booking those semi final tickets just yet.

It wasn't a tackle, the guy slid into Kearney. Never a penalty.

Not a penalty for me either.

    Fantastic tackle/strip from Toner.

How did the ref see that was a try?

Yeah. Honestly can't see how that could be adjudged to be a tackle. contact wouldn't have happened at all for another second or so without the slip

By seeing the ball on the ground

    Joey on for Jonny

Maybe because he's 1m from the ball and not looking at a screen through a camera 60m away

No knock on? What in the hell?

I love a good counterruck, it doesn’t happen enough these days, especially when players just stand over the ball, ripe for a counter.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,109 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

If Leinster can hold them out another minute or two this game is over.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,109 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

    That’s that.

Should have been a penalty though, can’t jump on the ball like McFadden did

Yellow coming up now for Toner

Still hungover from the grand slam celebrations. Give the lad some slack :D

Saracens have sh*t the bed about 3 times now 10m from the Leinster line.

    I think they’re exhausted.

They put everything in the first 40 and fell away in the second half. Leinster have bettered them physically in the second 40.

Three semi finalists from the Pro14... the Nigels will love that :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,413 ✭✭✭chupacabra

    Nacewa MOTM.

Edit: I was wrong. Its Levy :D

    Leinster, aka The Dubliners

Makes no sense to keep doing it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,229 ✭✭✭A-Train

That’s that! All Leinster in the second half! Championship minutes they scored all the points.

    Leavy Motm was brilliant

Of course it was Leavy, followed by Ryan and Nordi

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,229 ✭✭✭A-Train

Yes what a result! A tough tough match

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,980 ✭✭✭Lucy8080

Home semi and taking the crown off Sarries head....might have a beer tonight!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,501 ✭✭✭swiwi_

    Happy with that.

BOD giving MOTM to Leavy is the right call: even God would have trouble choosing between SOB, Leavy and VDF for the starting 7 shirt.

Hats off to James Ryan who was also excellent, as was Nacewa.

For Sarries, I thought Goode was good...

Leinster vs R92 in the final is what I predict...and another star for my Leinster shirt.
