Watching First Man in the cinema this evening. It was a brilliant film about Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon.

a bit too trivial, but, a memory of one of my neighbours, whom I happened to meet on the beach one day when on holiday in Rosslare in 1994; she was in a bikini.

Helping a neighbour, and today she helped me in return.

The ESB was due to the storm, they fixed in within a couple of hours of being notified.

The eruption of autumnal colours wasn't completely wiped out by the high winds and it's a sight to behold here this morning.

Too experienced to go past the door is why!

Happy to be resting in the intense silence. Was still sick with the vomiting bug when all this weather started so distinctly convalescent now and happy in that.

They'll already know by my address :o I had that at home though, they knew I was local and they knew I had a car, so I'd always be asked to stay on later than I was rostered to

Just had the loveliest morning playing with the prescious while listening to the playlist she was born to. She's nearly 16 months old and the best craic. Her personality is really coming out now and it's such a lovely period. As Fuaranach said before, glory days. :)

That the connector went on to the new gas cylinder easily; they can be stiff brutes that I cannot manage and I was dreading it..

and that I can hear the tide crashing on the shore. Been deafened this week.. a soothing, happy sound.. all is well. all is back to safe.

I just bought this for my cat in aldi. He can sometimes be indifferent to catnip toys but this must have the good stuff because he's been writhing around in ecstasy since he got his paws on it. It's very funny.

Aw, cats are the best! I've adopted 3 stray cats on my housing estate, and finally one of them figured out today that the box I left outside for him is for shelter. I tried catnip, ham, everything I could think of to get him in, but he wouldn't go for it until I turned the box with the entrance facing into me in the kitchen: he likes watching what I'm up to through the glass doors. He slept all day in there :) That made me happy as I feel very bad for all the feral cats. It took a while but he finally let me stroke him, and now he loves his strokes. When he treads, he lifts his paws so high it's like he's Irish dancing!

Ah see now, here's something other than my own cats that makes me happy! Lovely people that look after animals in need. :D Nice one Artvanderlay!

    You legend!

I'm always trying to interact with the local cats around here, most of them are having none of it, except for a beautiful ginger cat and a tabby named lucky :3.

You have to add it here as attachment (use the paperclip that you can see when you click on "go advanced"), or it won't work. :)
