Likes and comments on my Instagram. I don't get many so every one I get makes me smile.

Also seeing so many posts in this thread on a Monday morning. Nice to see a lot of happy people :)

After the weekend that was in it, I found a cheery thread on twitter this am where ppl of different religions talked about the similarities and differences between theirs. Not a single cross or angry word.

Attempted a half cut-crease on my eyes for the first time today. Didn't turn out exactly as I was planning, but it still looks pretty :)

    I need more practice though

I have no idea what that means, but I'm happy for you. ;)

It's a makeup thing, you basically "cut" out the crease of your eyelid with concealer or primer :p

You live on an island? Oooh tell us more. Do you get daily newspapers out there?

Are there no Gardaí and the pubs open all night? ;) I heard Clare Island is like this

No papers unless someone is going over... no Gardai.. and no pubs .. sheer peaceful bliss.... makes me happy all the time..

Spent three hours on Sunday cleaning every shelf, press, skirting board, window sill and dammit even the wiping the door handles and electrical sockets. Took every shelf from the fridge and cleaned them all. Then did the floors.

I didn’t dread it all, had music playing and found it relaxing.

    Maybe I’m weird !! :D

Only just read this.... if you wanna see the island I can find you plenty to make you happy!

Joined a new health club today that has got to be the friendliest place in London. It's not exactly cheap but I'll get free personal training and access to a load of really cool classes. So excited to get started!

Also, a bracelet that I had lost all hope on ever finding reappeared out of nowhere today. I got it from my sister for my birthday so it's high sentimental value. Iwas deep cleaning my room today and it suddenly appeared on my dust pan! So ridiculously happy

realised today that the yellow glads I planted way back are starting to flower... I was new here when I bought them and an old lady I was chatting to in the checkout queue said. "Well if you are setting flowers, you will be staying." Yep! I landed here (literally!) on September 8th last. The strangest and most fascinating year of my long life. welcome, yellow glads...

I watched a few sunrises last week in my jocks in one of the most beautiful coastlines I've been on. Its hard to describe the feeling.

TH Mee-Moo-Maow is back in and I'm finally going to be able to sleep _soundly_ after the exhausting day back at work.

She's young and when she goes out hunting she stays for hours, but I'd hate to think of her spending the night outside, not sure I'd manage to go to sleep.

Here she is, snogging the dog in a very undignified manner for a feline.

She looks a bit like our cat. I'd post a pic of her but I don't know how.
