I've read most stuff by Ed and Lorraine Warren but not that one I don't think, very good books.

Payday this week TG! So they are in the basket :) Cheers!

Was stressing about how I'm gonna pack everything I need for 5 months into my suitcases, and was slightly irritated that I'd have to buy a duvet when I get there (I know it's England and it's cheap and all, but still!) when we have a perfectly good, double duvet here that's never been opened. My mam met someone over the weekend and was telling them about me and going away and all, and the person suggested those vacuum pack things that you hoover all the air out of. So I got some and said I'd chance the duvet and see if it'd be small enough to bring.

TH that it's absolutely ideal, the duvet folds up and fits into my suitcase no bother :D

(The fact that I'm happy about that is a sad reflection of my life right now :p)

Someone is doing me a massive favour, saving me about €300. I'll get them a nice gift.

Got home to find that girl dog had her head in a frying pan, it had been used to reheat beef about half an hour earlier.
When the pan cooled it was put on a shelf for its next use, once the house went quiet, she started to lick the fat off the pan.
Brat dog knew well that I could see her and made NO effort to take her head out or even pretend she was going to stop.

All kinds of horrible I know, but lolololol, at the terrier genes at play.

Just saw Mrs S and our neighbour at the concert in Croke Park. :)
hope she enjoyed it . Made me a little happy to see people with a strong faith enjoying the occasion . There were two nuns talking too a reporter and it gave me a laugh when one of them described going through a barrier they weren't supposed to due to the excitement . i hope the poor old dears won't be struck down for that

I’ve been doing a bit of foncy dress research for a ball I’m going to while on my holidays in Sydney next month. Yay!
Saw a nice Coast one on littlewoods reduced (by 27 euro how good of them) went to my basket and it wouldn’t let me continue. Hours later same thing. Checked today and my size was gone.
Went to the Coast website where they were offering 20% off, and it was cheaper in stg.
Had to change to euro to get delivery to Ireland.
There was a 27 euro difference. Do shops not use the going rate? Do they have to?

Anyway I said I’d give An Post’s AddressPal a try, so I was able to buy it in stg, get free delivery cos it was over 125, and get it delivered to the post office near work, saving me from that missed delivery annoyance and feeling delighted at not paying extra. Hopefully it all goes smoothly now!

I started this job about 6 months ago.
I look forward to going into each day.

Not everybody gets to have that, I know I didn't in my last job.

Someone brought Belgian chocolates to the office, they are divine !!

It’s only when you taste amazing chocolates do you realize how ordinary Cadbury’s roses are

My Fitbit battery was dying so I charged it and when I unplugged it a little message popped up saying ‘Phew I needed that’.

I don’t know why that made me chuckle but it did.

Spent three hours on Sunday cleaning every shelf, press, skirting board, window sill and dammit even the wiping the door handles and electrical sockets. Took every shelf from the fridge and cleaned them all. Then did the floors.

I didn’t dread it all, had music playing and found it relaxing.

    Maybe I’m weird !! :D

I find it therapeutic. I spent a good 3 hours cleaning walls and doors yesterday. Chatting to my friend on the phone throughout Great sense of achievement and great chat!

Very happy as my family love me and our wonderful, great island postman delivered a "care package" this morning... are they not good to me?

A great morning fishing then I drive in the gate to be met by two grandchildren waving and shouting "Granda…..Hello Granda...Hi Ya!"
Absolutely priceless and has me set up for the day.

You live on an island? Oooh tell us more. Do you get daily newspapers out there?

Are there no Gardaí and the pubs open all night? ;) I heard Clare Island is like this
