Here in Waterford City i measured 51cm of snow this time yesterday evening so amazing totals for the history books. Thaw has really set in aided by 12.7mm of rain recorded since 10am today. Currently we have 10cm of snow remaining.

Currently its raining with a temp of 2.1c

Currently 3.8C after a low of 1.2C this morning. About 10cm of snow cover still on the driveway but melting rapidly.

Some of the drifts locally are a sight to be seen, easily 7-8 feet, most roads are now passable, but only a single lane in a lot of places.

In still air, there is an eerie snow fog hanging 3 or 4ft over snow on the ground.

Never seen that before!

Still a decent depth of snow cover on the ground/lawn.

Since 2pm yesterday I have recorded 35.2mm of 'rain'....the rain gauge bucket was full to the top with snow, and it's slowly melting away (and being recorded).

Yeah there is a problem with the link when using touch version of boards on mobile. On Pc it works . Manually type the address and it should work fine.

Looking out at a green lawn, the only trace of our around 15 cm of snow left to see is where I shovelled it off the drive. The road looks clear from the window anyway.
Its foggy and 2°, no frost on the cars.
Looks like its going to be just a usual miserable morning here.
