Not one flake of snow on the ground in north cork - very disappointing

Should we get it later today ? ME says south and east coasts will be worst affected

The latest high res models show the precip much lighter in Laois and northwest of Laois. Now none of these are 100% but there will be a huge variation in the amounts of snow some areas see if these models are correct

Cork got absolutely hammered last night and temp was reading -7 20 mins ago now -6. There's at least 3 inches of lying snow here with snowdrifts worse again.....

Im not convinced about tonight for the South coast. I think it'll change to rain sooner than the Met think but hope not

That ME radar is hilarious. Showing the entire Dublin county filled with precip. Nothing here, absolutely nothing. Is it actually snowing anywhere in Dublin ?

Bouncing around -4/-5 here in Tullow at the moment. Not snowing but one helluva of a chilly wind swirling around.

Fairly constant stream of snow and hail showers have deposited another 6-7cm overnight so up to about 15cms of lying snow now with some drifting. Tara, Meath.

Fresh covering of snow in Killiney overnight to footpaths, driveways and roads that had melted in the sun yesterday even though netweather radar showed no snow falling at all in our area.

Light snow falling again but nothing showing on the netweather radar

Good morning, about 13-15cm of fabulous snow fell in Athlone, slight drifts in garden and looks amazing. an amazingly accurate forcast by the main guys here, thank you.

I saw a detailed description of what we are to expect from 4pm today but cant seem to locate it now.
it detailed how the blizzard conditions would happen all of a sudden and one could become disorientated etc, does anyone know where i'd find it again please.
I want to tag family on it as it really would emphasise todays seriousness, thanks.
