Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Stockdale looks like he's struggling to run.

Big Stu is an absolute rock in defense these days.

No consistency from the ref there. A Wasps player kicked the ball through the ruck barely 60 seconds ago.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Stockdale off injured.

    Lyttle on.

    Not good for Ireland.

    Come on Ulster

Ugh that's not a good sight. Walking / jogging off so hopefully nothing too bad, if he misses training it could rule him out of France though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

    Dead leg apparently

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

Ulster getting nothing from the referee at all. Offside by wade and high tackle on lyttle

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,958 ✭✭✭✭Shefwedfan

How was that not a high tackle? he swung around his neck

the state of the pitch helps but reidy did so well to get to the line there

  • Registered Users Posts: 392 ✭✭Sephiral

haha, Ulster were going nowhere until you gave them a try off their loosest kick so far. Thanks Christian!

Head straight in the balls. Thats shocking technique.

Worst tackle technique I’ve ever seen.

I wonder did underfoot conditions contribute? If his foot went from under him, he may have gone at an angle he didn’t intend. Just a theory

Another rubbish call. Ulster playing 16.

Edit: hit him on the nose lol

Darren Cave outpaced by a hooker?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,610 ✭✭✭eigrod

That was a great try all round. The move that brought Wasps into the 22 earlier was the best rugby of the day

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

Ulster have been shocking fielding kicks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Sean Cronin is confused by your surprise. :D

Ulster's defensive alignment is absolutely brutal. You have to play with linespeed against Wasps and Ulster are completely on their heels, allowing Wasps sling it around them with ease.

At one point, Wasps had about 3 extra men out wide on about the second phase which just shouldn't happen. Ulster look almost apathetic.

  • Registered Users Posts: 966 ✭✭✭Scythica

not enjoying this one bit atm

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

    Ulster desperately need halftime

  • Administrators Posts: 54,091 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

    We are dire.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

    So many individual mistakes.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

If half the Ulster team were putting the shift in that Best is, they'd be out of sight. Ludik was having a fine game too before having to go off. Is he coming back?

That's a very patchy back line on the field now. I reckon Wasps will carve it open if Ulster don't own possession. I thought Darren Cave was a prop when I saw him in open play, has he packed on some weight?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,189 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Ludik failed his HIA and won't be back for the 2nd half.
