They could have held off on the Pat and wedding and given more time to the suicide and rape stories.

Seb is so stupid! Did he really think he could take down Pat Phelan armed with a gun with just his bare hands?? Why didn't he use a phone upstairs to ring the police or if there was no phone try to summon help from the window. Anything other than what he did...

I wonder was anyone shot at all or will it all just be a big anti-climax and the shot just went off into the air?

Was Carla wearing a dress or some kind of nightdress? Usually she looks the most stunning woman on the street. But whatever she was wearing seemed to make her look flabby and middle-aged. How disappointing, as amid the dross she always shines.

How did Phelan get into Nicola house?

I can't even be bothered trying to understand what that drugs thing is with Rosie. Life is too short.

How do you become a writer for Corrie? It mustn't be hard what with all the silly, dumb and improbable plots going around. I was not paying attention to how Daniel has that lady lodger with him. And didn't she pass some strange remark to Daniel about how fit he was in his suit? That in itself should ring some alarm bells for him.

This builders' yard. It's beginning to resemble Cromwell Place (was it?). The place Fred West and wife lived in aka the house of horrors.

David is acting well but it's a pity that his character too often is just surly. He has had lots of problems in the past but they are never referred to as part of his personality. Do we know , for example, if Shona is aware of his complex and dangerous past? Did he push Gail down stairs or something like that? Wouldn't social services be on his case constantly regarding the kids then?

I'll just qualify this by saying I know NOTHING about radio, so I don't know if it's even possible. But I thought Tims dad said he was breaking all kinds of DJ rules by pressing a TA button. I thought it was like a 'Talk All' button and he was able to some how interrupt all radio stations airing at that time and broadcast it that way?

Either way, bet he gets fired from radio and they give him a job in the bistro because no one can work outside the street once they become a regular character.

David’s is the only decent storyline this week. His reference to Aidan was so touching.
Although I doubt he’ll get justice from the legal system and take matters into his own hands without a thought for his kids.

Carla looked absolutely like a glittery sack of spuds and Michelle looked like she was wearing an over size extra large D’oyley as a wedding dress.

Fed up of David’s surliness - there are enough teenagers on the street for that and where was Maria and Leeeeeeurrrrrrrrm last night?

I always thought TA button was for traffic announcement? And they mentioned something about traffic at the end of the piece.

Also so stupid about what Seb did. He had his bloody phone in his hand while he was listening from upstairs!!

Clearly that part of the storyline was aimed at dopes like me :D

Hope Corrie pulls it out of the bag tonight but unlikely.
Dont know how they messed it up...
I mean, Phelans is a fab actor. All you need is some good writing.
The Michelle and Steve thing was so annoying. They're not even going to make it realistic by having him harbour real feelings for her now.
No. Straight away he's onto Tim to fix it and this kiss will be forgotten...
Purely thrown in for drama so Rob leaves, then returns, making it all the more poignant when "chell" is shot. Writers completely ignoring the fact that she is a painful character that audiences loathe.
It's great that Corrie has the balls to broach controversial issues such as Male Rape and Suicide.
These storylines have so much potential but the writing always falls short.
They did a great job with Aidans suicide episode, and the one that followed, but the direction they are taking now with the will etc has left a bad taste in my mouth.
Instead of watching the family continue the mourning of a very likable character they are instead turning their attention towards the factory, business, and money basically and focusing on a petty decision he made when he had fallen out with the family. Its just kind of spoiling his legacy. If they insisted on this storyline, which involves dragging Alya, another unlikeable madam, into the equation, it's a shame they couldnt leave it a few weeks.
There is no way family would have the fight in them, just yet, to battle this factory thing so enthusiasticly. He only died about 3 weeks ago.. You wouldn't give a **** about anything else. But I suppose when one of them decides to get married within a month of his death all bets are off!!

So. We the audience are expected to believe that Michelle learns that her husband to be has done a runner on the morning of their wedding. On. The. Morning. Of. Their. Wedding. After the few predictable histrionics, Michelle puts out a plea on local radio, whingeing and begging her man to come back. Incredibly he does, and she falls into his arms???? Seriously???? I would batter his remaining ball and stuff it down his neck!

It's the bally ballyness of it that makes it all seem so bally bally.

No better woman than Michelle to do this. She has a tendency to slap and hit men and then get away with it.

I think there's something wrong with me ... I love Pat Phelan! But possibly because he may be our only chance of getting rid of Michelle Moan.

All the hype about Pat coming back and it's such a terrible ending he shoots 2 people and then the cringe worthy lines by Anna

"People like you don't get to win, I win"

    Such cringy embarrassing dialogue.

If he at least could have shot her in self as she leaned in

Anna should get some salt and vinegar and put it in his wound.

Why zip up Pat in the street? Why not inside where he died?
