What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation?

    Harry Potter! I could talk about it for days so I would definitely get a 40 minute presentation out of it. I hate public speaking though so it would never happen.

    I like your approach! The entire war might be a bit too broad to summarise in 40 minutes now that I think about it logically. :D

    If I was to narrow it down, I'd probably focus on the 3rd Reich.

    We went to Ho Chi Minh and visited the war museum( man that's an eye opener ), did a tour down the Mekong delta and visited the tunnels/shooting range with AK47's etc. All were fantastic.
    Vietnam is a brilliant country to visit.

    OT the importance of the Spatula in 20th century Europe.

    I'd probably be able to talk about the band Ween, look them up, for a solid twenty minutes - but forty is really stretching. There's probably no subject I could talk solo about totally on the fly for that length of time - except maybe my own neuroses.

    Thanks! Definitely have the war museum and the tunnels on the list, just have to convince my girlfriend that she wants to fire some AK47s!

    Some tv shows, like Game of Thrones or Dan Harmons work. Horror films.

    More realistically though, People I Have Disliked: The Ways In Which They're ****, Why I Was Right, And Oh My God This Thing They Said That Time, They're So Stupid.

    Although, to be fair, I'm not sure I could give a presentation on anything for more than 5 minutes to a group of people I am not comfortable with.

    For people I know and am comfortable with, I would probably shift it into a discussion & then I could talk for hours!
