"The evil that infests my friends tomb lies behind those iron doors. Will you face it Ilberic Goodenough?"

"I am afraid you speak only to a projection of Ursula of Tasim, I cannot access her spells, only her knowledge. Your name is known to me through Ursula herself."

"In truth it is a side effect of Ursula's chromatic magic come to life, a being created during an attempt to breach a distant plane. A strange sickness emanates from it and though it possesses no magic, its mind has strange abilities, powers over the physical world. Not magic, but psionics. It is only through this and the sickness that it may harm, it cannot physically touch you."

Ok I try the door, elf arrow nocked and oh yeah I drink the strength potion

Goodie enters the room. Inside the walls are stripped of their paint and flowers which used to grow here are withered. The whole room centers around a well and the iconography is of a woman made of plants, some old goddess?

Out of the well rises a green light, the creature Ursula spoke of.



Also next to the well, lies a strange cylinder and a shining silver box.

The light hovers near the items, but does not advance on Goodie.

You can still move it. All the tissue is still attached through microportals to my home realm."

Goodie realises he can feel his left arm, in some kind of fluid.

OOC: You wouldn't know exactly how fast the creature is, but it moved over to you several times faster than a human could.

OOC: I've never seen it, but looking at reviews I think it's a little different, this isn't a gate you can pull your hand out of, the tissue is threaded through millions of individual portals.

Goodie feels strange a headache fills his head and knowledge of what the being has done is pushed into his brain.

A gateway opens up to a seemingly infinite see of purple goo and the being floats through.

"Goodbye"

The gateway closes.

Ursula appears.

"Thank you Ilber....Goodie. My friends tomb is cleansed. The sword you took is magically immune to some degree and has healing properties. Use it well."

She vanishes.

OOC: Goodie gets 5000XP for Halfling, 4000XP for Ranger. The sword has a 10% to cancel any magic effect on the user and can cast "Cure Light Wounds" once a day. Goodie's brain has been moved to another dimension, but is still connected to his body via portals at the top of the spine. He is immortal to any head wound.
