    They sourced their info through the freedom of information act. So I wouldn't say there were far off the mark if they used that source. It's usually fairly reliable.

    "Civilians" can legitimately make up part of the Garda Band, but there is a requirement that they have a record of acting in a public enforcement capacity, e.g., street patrol (lollipop person), or citizen's arrest.
