    Showers seem to be moving quickly across the country. In Dublin, it's bitter cold with a wind that would slice you in two.

    Christ the weather has changed in the last 30mins here, the wind would cut ya in half and its freezing cold

    Went so dark here in Tralee with a ferocious hail and rain shower a moment ago. Cleared the town !

    Woke this morn, snow gone, road clear, grass green. I said sound, il do 1 or 2 things around the house 1st then go off for a cycle before the cold creeps in tonite. Then came the rain , then the hail +now its snowing again.
    Id say every city +town will be jammers at the weekend with people out scrambling for christmas shopping!!

    Temps during passage of that last shower here. Quite the fall as the rain turned increasingly to sleet and then snow, and then back to sleet again.

    Snow was clearly intensity induced, in that colder air was dragged down from a height during most intense part of shower.

    Drove through heavy shower of sleet/bits of wet snow between Templemore and Roscrea about 2pm. Temp dropped from 4.4 to 2.1°C . 9 mm recorded since 7am

    Just chatting to my mam and snow is starting to stick at home. Still a fair bit of snow, ice chunks from Sunday. In Portlaoise at the moment.

    3nd coldest station on that map is the one nearest to me (at time of writing) which is not the northwest. 2nd coldest Roscommon (0.3c) again, not northwest. Get your geography right bucko. :p

    3pm reports is a moderate snow shower and Vis of 800m.

    Temp 1c, DP 0c.

    Quite a lively shower just passed over, which was about 3/4 snow 1/4 rain at its peak. Some very fast moving scud on the back end of it.
