As Bandylegs heads down the tunnel, he peers down at the guard leading the way.

'Tell me laddie, I'm not familiar with Sanderjarn. Anything of note a dwarf such as mesel' should be interested in? For the right amount o'coin, Bandylegs will do any job... once I get meself sorted out, o'course. I'll be stopping by Vergedain's temple once I get me legs back, I daren't approach such a wondrous temple in me current state.'

    He then approaches Elin.

'Be careful in the city, missie. I'd be keeping me hands to meself if I was ye. Dwarven customs tend to remove limbs of any thievin' within the walls.... or worse.'

Elin nods, "well my hands are my livelihood so consider the warning heeded. But I do hope the rest of your kind aren't oathbreakers like yourself."
She tosses her hair and heads towards the stables to get Horsey settled.

[OOC: probably no point in me asking for a person who would sell enchanted thieves tools here then? Lol. I do have a nice topaz to sell though.]

OOC: I'm sure there's a black market for that kind of stuff even in dwarven cities... no idea how to find them though :P

OOC: Every village, town and city has it's gritty underbelly. A sharpeyed thief would soon enough spot a pickpocket working the crowds.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

"Guard, be there a temple district in this fine city? Or where might a man go to see the faiths the city has to offer?"

Wherever that is, that's where I go, taking Sol at a trot. Gonna spend the evening looking at the fine religious dwarven architecture and speaking with religious leaders and militants.

"Fear not Master Dwarf. I am not one of the religious kind, though I respect those who are. Your kin will have no quarrel with me.

Now, while it seems odd to ask for a master craftsman in a city of master craftsmen, if I were to want my weapons rehoned, who would I be best to speak to? Also, where can a famished woman get good steak and good ale?"
One of the guards turns to Xanthea

"Ale, any of the local taverns. Try Doukrorlig's though, it is of the highest quality.

As for the best, how much are you willing to spend. The city's best is out of your league lass."

Sounds like good advice on the ale. And for the weaponsmith, if I am acting on the instructions of Dwarf Master McGillicudy, who should I be speaking to?

    He leans in.

"In addition, I was given this." He holds up a seal of the temple of Vergadain. "The Masters told us to bring them the next dwarf who comes to the city gates."

"No temple district lad. There's three gods here. Vergadain, Dumathoin and the Earth 'erself. The first two ye can only enter the temples if yer a dwarf. The last ye can worship by mining."

He brings Moy to a digging site in the middle o' the city.

"Human wants to worship, let 'em"

One of the workmen tosses Moy a pickaxe.

"Aye no problem." He motions his son over and says something to him in dwarfish. The son leaves the shop.

"Now let's take a good look at this..."

An armed guard of twenty dwarven warriors arrives in the shop.

"Is that him?" The merchant's son nods. The commander of the group walks over and looks at the gem.

"By the stone....it really is it. Take this bastard to the masters, they'll decree his fate."

The guards encircle Ekbard, not knowing to expect a fight or a surrender.

"And commander, what is you name?, I'd like to know whom to tell the big dragon to question first!"

"You know why I've done it scum" the merchant shakes his head in contempt. "My boy let's go upstairs to your mother, let the guard take care of this one" He leaves up the back stairs.

The commander answers Ekbard "Dragon? Well...."

    Another guard turns "Sir?"

"They did actually arrive on a dragon, Gramruil told me, he was there. If she sent them.....Regardless the masters need to know. Will you follow us?"

    He hands Ekbard the gem.

"Yes guards, I shall follow you, take me to these masters of yours, for I have no idea why that merchant shows the contempt he does for me and I'd like to understand."

'Excuse me laddie... house o'McGillicuddy? In Sanderjarn? There's not been a McGillicuddy known to live in this place fer a century at least. No matter. Mayhap they be a distant relative. I shall have to pay them a visit.'

Bandylegs takes the seal and bows his head in brief prayer.

'The seal of Vergedain? There be somethin' afoot if the elders are handin out seals to random dwarves. Ye know anythin about why they be giving such an honourable gift to the common folk?'

I chuckle lightly to myself, the pick feels tremdously heavy as I heft it onto my shoulders. A little hard work while I reflect on what has happened in the previous few days won't do any harm.

I struggle over too an unworked spot and try to swing the pick. It's satisfying to watch the rock crack and crumble away over the next few minutes, thinking back on the journey so far and those I've made the trek with.

Xanthea sets off to the weaponsmith...
Xanthea arrives in Durivoc's shop. Simple enough, but she notices the weapons have ruins carved in them.

"A human and one from afar. What do ye want lass?" Durivoc asks turning. His left eye is some sort of mechanical mechanism.
