Do you remember those Heinz chocolate sponge puddings that came in a tin? They don't have them in the shops any more.

    Pepperidge farm remembers..

That name is so strongly associated with ketchup I think Id struggle to eat one of their products without imagining the taste of ketchup

Will hopefully spend Christmas in Tijuana Mexico, leaving Ireland today so totally escaping Christmas.

Luckily you qualified "Tijuana" with the word "Mexico" so that we didn't think you were going to "Tijuana, Longford"

Keep a close eye on your personal stereo.

I ended up somewhere sunny, but it’s bloody freezing, -8C last night.
Start driving to warmer places tomorrow.

Yeah, I did a Hitler and headed to South America. Pretty hot here.

Generally the first thing that springs to mind when someone says 'do a Hitler'

They were lovely, light chocolate sponge with a bit of chocolate sauce on the ends, hot custard on them.. yum.

I leave for Pretoria/Johanesburg on Saturday until the new year.

40c heat and plenty of sunshine.

Exchanged christmas gifts last weekend so have plenty of new cool shirts and socks.:D

So an update on this, Gran Canaria was great for Christmas.

Weather was a solid 22-25 degrees depending on what part of the Island you were.

Took a rental car and saw all over the North, wasn't Touristy at all.

Spent Christmas Eve at a bar looking onto the Beach with some nice food in a T-Shirt.

Christmas Day went Snorkeling around Anfi.

    Would thoroughly recommend it. :D

Same here, went to Tenerife. So relaxing compared to the running around, cooking and cleaning that I usually do here.
