    Salah

On Hazard at the mo, rested midweek, looking really sharp and Newcastle not looking good at all and shipping a fair few goals lately.

On the other hand it seems mad not to go for Salah given his form. Brighton do seem quite solid at the back however.

Sane the other contender, but likely either Haz or Sal

    Alonso again

First thoughts are Morata or Sane/Silva.

    Watford conceded 4 again midweek
    Kane is an obvious candidate
    Him or sane for me

    Haz

    Be wary of Alonso.

I have him, but he will get at least one game off. Zappacosta came off early last night, and can play on the left.

I can only hope his rest will come in the Champions League, as Chelsea are pretty much safe.

    Gotta be Salah!

I think I'm going to go with Kane to bring me the disappointment this week. Hopefully he can avoid a yellow I'd settle for a 2 pt captain at this stage.

Kane away from home against a shocking Watford defense for me. Haz and Salah the two that are tempting me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,528 ✭✭✭✭dsmythy

Easy Salah until he doesn't actually score in a game.

Salah auto-captain.......but Kane away from home to dodgy defence is tempting

I'd say Conte will want to win the group so they'll a win to be assured of that.

Burned by Hazard during the week. Going back for more possible punishment

    Masochist me. Hazard

There's no risk in captaining Hazard lads. He starts.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,108 ✭✭✭✭2nd Row Donkey

    Hazard if I had him.

    Salah or Kane.

Have it on Hazard, Aguero would be some punt at home to West Ham of all teams. Shows how far he has slipped in people's estimation around here with just the one vote, I have him and now I'm tempted, my captain picks have been awful this season so what could possibly go wrong.

This is why I don't/cant own aguero
11.5 on a striker who you are hesitant to captain at home to a GOD AWFUL team..........

be careful. he is due a rotation. IMO, your biggest hope that he starts is if Sané happens to still be ill.

Everyone thinking Morata will be rested?

i think he will be, but it really does depend how Conte sees the importance/difficulty of the Newcastle game, compared to the importance/difficulty of the Champions League game midweek.

it's the same issue with Alonso. we just don't know when they'll get their rest, because they will get one.

I think its because of the champions league game that he will play, I know id like my marquee forward full of confidence for that game, and a nice home fixture against Newcastle is just the ticket.

Torn between Hazard and Salah or taking a punt on Sane.
Have it Haz (C), Salah (VC) at the moment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,022 ✭✭✭✭Iused2likebusts

Im not sure about salah now that MOvember is over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,293 ✭✭✭✭Mint Sauce

There was me thinking Salah/Kane/Morata. FFFix is suggesting D Silva.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,077 ✭✭✭✭eh i dunno

Kane morata hazard Salah. I can't decide. Might chance hazard

I have it on him at the moment. Doesn't seem crazy to me. But it's always a risk with Pep!

Very tempted myself,he was taken off early last game aswell.Have it on Hazard now and he did burn me so Im flip floping.
Dead rubber game for City in CL.
Sort of feel like Rick when he took Roy off the grid.

Hazard. Newcastle's defence over the last month has been very suspect.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,640 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Was thinking of sticking it on Firmino but I don't know if he'll start so I'm going with Kane.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 255 ✭✭foxatron

Kane must be due 2 or 3 in a match soon enough ffs. Ive stuck with him for long enough! Its only a matter of time

Ps he'll get 3 tomorrow. You can thank me after.

Between Hazard and Salah, edging towards Salah

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,833 ✭✭✭shineon23

    I want to captain Salah,
I think all my rivals will go with him.

    So Kane it is :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,982 ✭✭✭Trimm Trabb

Going to captain Kane for 8 out of next 10 gameweeks. Exceptions are City and Burnley away - logic is he is Harry Kane and Harry Kane is a goal machine - see stats from this this season and last 3 seasons before that for confirmation.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,325 ✭✭✭munster87

Switching it from Jesus to Hazard again. Although I hate having a captain in the early game

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,369 ✭✭✭Porthallian

October 3rd 2015. Aguero scored 5 against Newcastle.

    December 2nd 2017. Hazard scores 5 against Newcastle :)

Well I hope I'm not still playing FF in another 98 years time to find out

Chelsea play athletico Tuesday they need a result to top the group. I reckon if they have the game in the bag there will be a couple of early changes. Its probably a win/win as if they have the game in the bag Morota/ hazard have more than likely contributed to it.

Have it on Sane but not sure, Watford seem to leak goals and Spurs must be due to turn things around
